Don’t even hesitate to purchase this beast! It’s huge but it works great! I had to alter my 22lb turkey by cutting off the wings so I was able to fit it in the cage encasing. I know this thing was only meant for a 14-15 lb bird but it still worked fantastically! It took me about 1 hour and 20 minutes for a fully cooked turkey. Came out crispy and tasty! We really enjoyed this rotisserie deep fryer! It was time consuming to clean but still easy. You’d expect this from something this size though. Highly recommend picking this up with the deal of the day $150. Can’t beat it! I’m loving this thing!

Did a test run this summer and the turkey turned out perfectly. Cooked the bird faster than traditional oven. I also used it like a regular deep fryer and made some crispy chicken wings. The only drawback is the size, oil draining, and cleaning but that is expected.

This is fantastic. I made a 12 lb turkey for thanksgiving and it was amazing. I’ve made a whole chicken in the basket as well. I would say buy this beast but be weary that it is huge! Easy cleanup too.

Great appliance at an even greater deal. Is very large and capable of cooking a nice size holiday meal for the family. Many features and options.

This is a deep and wide enough for 10 of my family. And I like this magnetic power cord to protect making accident by mistake.

When I first started seeing the Best Buy Deal of the Day, I thought it was just another sales tactic, as in “too good to be true”. However, this was an absolute steal when we bought it! This fryer is huge! It has room to fry whatever you want- wings, fries, onion rings, even a whole turkey! The fryer cooks quickly and evenly, while making your food crispy and delicious. The set up is super easy, and it leaves no greasy mess all over the counter tops! The Cuisinart brand speaks for itself, and lives up to its outstanding reputation. The only issue that we’ve had is where to store it when not in use. It’s too large to leave on the countertops, yet I hate taking up valuable cabinet space as well. However, that’s a small problem to have when it does such an amazing job of cooking delicious food. It will also steam veggies and rice as well, but we haven’t tried that out yet. I was very pleased with the performance of this fryer. I can’t wait to try out the rotisserie chicken feature...I know it’ll be amazing! I now check out the Best Buy Deal of the Day every single day. We got an excellent deep fryer for an unbeatable price. I’m on the lookout for a good vacuum cleaner deal next!

This fryer is plenty big. It holds the temperature quite well. I made up some waffle fries with this unit and they were delicious. Tender crispy and not greasy. They were always kinda soggy when I tried a smaller fryer I had. For as big as it is, it cleaned up quite easy. After cools, I drain the oil, remove the element and the basin easily lifts out to wash. However because it is quit large for my counter space, I use it on my bbq island outdoors.

Very nice device. Cooked a whole chicken perfectly and easily. Clean up is the only downside but that happens I suppose. I probably wouldn’t have bought it for $300 but i saw it at $150 and had a $50 gift card so that helped

This fryer works great. I really enjoy using it. The temperature is precise and clean up is easy. I was disappointed that the oil container did not have the MIN/MAX markings inside as indicated in the manual. The manufacturer has promised to send a new container. I hope it arrives soon, because I can't accurately judge the oil to make sure I do not go below the minimum level. Otherwise, fantastic !!!

Great size for most thanksgiving turkeys. Couldn't beat the deal of the day price of only $99. Pretty easy to use and clean up wasn't bad. Spent a good about of time trying to get all the oil out of the included drain tubing.

Bought this back in September from Best Buy when it was "Deal of the Day". Finally used it this past Thanksgiving to deep fry a 14 pound turkey. It's as safe as you can get when deep frying turkeys. The bird turned out amazing (note, I did brine for 12 hours beforehand). It was done in 80 minutes. Tasty and juicy. I used it again tonight to make home made fish and chips. The cod and the fries turned out amazing as well. It's easy to clean. The only thing you have to wait on is for the oil to cool off. The only issue I have is lack of space in my kitchen to store this relatively large appliance. But I moved a few things around (dumped a few things that I never use) and now it sits in my kitchen ready for use.

A very nice solid ...well built fryer....I will cook my turkey with it next week...it will be the first time I will be using the basket. I have used it to deep fry other items...and it has done a great job. The oil should be preheated first..it does take about 20 to get it up to 350. The fryer is easy to clean and to drain the oil from it. It was on sale at a great price las month. IT IS A LARGE UNIT...YOUR NEED SOME COUNTER SPACE FOR IT!

Purchased this as a household gift for Christmas. So far so good. Would like a longer power cord however. It's fairly large and requires an extension in order to place on a surface with clearance.

So when I bought it I really thought just a fryer & great because LOVE rotissiere chicken. Husband brings it home & it's more than just a fryer, but a steamer too!! OMG - XL as indicated is EXACTLY what it is. You will not be disappointed if purchase this on the next deal. (Christmas)

Was the first time frying a whole turkey and this machine made it so easy. Do need to worry of oil overflowing.

I think this can fit a good size turkey, so far I have only used for steaming vegetables, water boils so quick. Good quality, I like to safety mechanism on the power plug,

Bought to replace a defunct electric turkey fryer. Set up was tricky, but once you understand how the rotisserie works it's ok. Practice a few dry runs! The directions were a bit off. While the temp settings are lower than I previously used (375 vs. 450), it is MUCH more efficient and cooks much faster than the 6 minutes per pound they recommend. The turkey came out ok, but the skin was blackened and the thin areas (wing tips, drumstick tips, etc.) were burnt. Next time, I'll probably return to the standard 5 minutes a pound, (or 3 mins a pound plus 5 minutes).
