Simple to use, good cover and no paper filter needed

This has the bean grinder, brewing via a timer. I had to find a new coffee maker as my glass carafe broke and I could not find a replacement. So, I wanted the all of the above features. Yes, the drying out of the bean holder is a factor, but unless you will pay for a commerical grade and $$$. I believe all grinder/brew systems have this same problem. There is a trend for individual cup coffee makers, so overall, so I got what I wanted, just need to deal with it daily, but I am a flexible individual.

Works well, but does not Burr grind the beans, which can leave chunks and clog the machine from time to time.

Bought this for the thermal carafe which has worked out well. However, it does drip after pouring which is slightly annoying.

Coffee comes out clear and bright and clean tasting. Requires some cleaning after usage but overall is good. Have not tried the grinder yet

The automatic grinder does not evenly distribute into the filter.

We had used this coffee maker while on vacation and bought one when we came back home. Love the steel carafe which keeps the coffee hot for a long time. The only complaint I have is you have to wash the grind mechanism after every use. Other than that, very easy and reliable machine.

Freshly ground beans to make a fresh pot of coffee every morning. This device never fails to satisfy. This is third purchase of the product. The useful life is about seven years, so you can tell this has been the coffee maker of choice for the last fifteen years.

If you don't mind cleaning the grinder before each use (which I don't) this is a great coffeemaker. You can program it to grind or if you choose to use pre-ground coffee, you can turn the grind function off. The grinder is louder than a handheld grinder. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase.

I like everything about this coffee maker except the fact that the steel carafe doesn't keep the coffee hot for more than 20 minutes.

Superb coffee grinder/maker. No problems but did die after three years

This coffee pot peforms the way I need it to peform. Wasn’t looking for a high maintenance machine.

We've had too many coffee makers to count in 48 years of marriage. This is the best we've had. I like the convenience of being able to grind my own beans, or not! The carafe keeps coffee nice and warm without burning it like traditional glass pots on a warmer.

Contacted best buy because I couldn't return coffee maker....I had let 14 days pass and did not have the box. The coffee maker did not work properly after trying several times. This item was not cheap and all I wanted was to replace it with one that worked!

This one of the worst coffee makers I’ve ever used. The cheap ones in motels make better coffee. The coffee always taste watered down. What is worse is that whole machine crapped out on us a few months after purchase. The coffee grind would overflow for no apparent reason. Then coffee grinder stopped working, so we only used the grind off option. We can make better coffee in a much cheaper or more reliable model. The thermal carafe was not as useful as expected either, rather much get a separate one that doesn’t come with the coffee maker. The whole machine itself is a complete hassle to clean.

Quieter than earlier models of cuisinart i've owned. Flavor is full & consistent every pot.
