Customers are saying
Customers highly value the Grind & Brew 10-Cup Automatic Coffee Maker for its excellent coffee quality and ease of use, with many praising the delicious taste and convenient timer. However, some users find the grinder difficult to clean and maintain, citing challenges with its design and the need for frequent disassembly. The cleaning process itself is also a point of contention for some customers. Despite these drawbacks, the positive feedback on the coffee's taste and brewing convenience remains prominent.

Makes hot and fresh coffee!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the older grind n brew model which lasted for years (used about six days a week). This newer model seems to brew hotter and the filter tray is much more durable and seems to latch in better. I would recommend this unit.

Great Coffee maker, easy to use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very nice coffee machine. It keeps coffee drink warm for around 3.5 to 4 hours. Its fiddly to clean up, but we throw it all top rack dishwasher and its done for us. I like it, but we do find we use more ready ground beans than whole beans, as it lasts longer.

Great machine, great cup of coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. After reading the mix of positive and awful reviews on this product before buying, I was very hesitant when I purchased and prepared for the possibility that I might have to return it. After three weeks, I'm very pleased with the machine in every way. I found customers who complained about the difficulty in cleaning were FAR overstating the problem - the pieces that need to be cleaned daily are easily removed and are all washable, so taking them out, rinsing them under running water and then setting them aside to dry takes less than 60 seconds. Put them back, add beans and you're ready for the next day. Very easy! I've also not found any problems with leaking or dripping, neither during brewing nor pouring, and the caraffe keeps the coffee steaming for hours, even if I don't "prime" it before brewing by running hot water through it as the manual suggests. I've been very impressed with the difference in flavor of the coffee, even as opposed to grinding the beans the night before and putting them in a programmable coffee maker. The flavor is outstanding and the machine, so far, has proven to be great and very easy to maintain.

Nice product, a little difficult to clean.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this for a home / office. We are members of a coffee of the moth program that sends whole bean coffee. We selected this brand because it was a nice design and in stainless steel. We selected this model because it had the grind or no grind option as well as the brew pause option. So far it works well and it's easy to use. My only complaint is that the internals that need to be cleaned after each use are a little difficult to clean. There are nooks and crannies that could of been smoothed over to make it easier to clean. Other than that its a nice machine.

Brews weak coffee. Solution: pre-grind
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had hoped this new version of the Cuisinart Grind and Brew would brew better coffee then the previous version I had, but I was sadly disappointed. I could see as I poured my first cup of coffee that the Cuisinart Grind and Brew delivers hot coffee colored water. So if you’re like me and want a strong cup of Joe, I know the solution. Unlike others who claim the water does not sit in the coffee long enough, (I tested brewing a pot using my trusty old coffee grinder with the Cuisinart grinder off and the brew was great) I have a different view point. The problem is the grinds. The built in grinder does not grind the beans fine enough (I think it doesn’t stay in the chamber long enough). My solution was to pre grind my coffee. Just a single pulse, to break up the beans and that’s it. I know its counter intuitive and against the whole purpose of having the grinder built in, but the only other alternative was to use more beans which, in my view, was a waste of coffee. So I take as many beans as I can fit in my grinder and give it a single pulse or two and pour the broken beans in an air tight bag. For a 5 lbs. bag of coffee, I will do this per pound. This way the beans stay whole, longer. Two star ding because of the extra work, otherwise it brews a great pot of coffee

Great coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Gave this to my wife for her coffee addiction...mine too if I'm going to be honest. Love that it is completely programable and has water filter built in. In addition it lets me keep our other coffee grinder at my work so I can have great coffee there too. There is nothing not to like about this, and the loud comment...well what do you expect when it's grinding coffee, it is bound to be louder than trickling water.

For FRESH GROUND coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is actually my second one. My first one died after 7 years. So I'm going to say that longevity is excellent. I really like having my coffee made from fresh ground beans, nice and hot when I get up in the morning. My ONLY complaint is that the clock needs to be reset after a power outage, the unit doesn't need to be reprogrammed, just the clock reset.

awesome grind and brew machine
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the best coffee pot ever! It's quieter than the previous grind and brew I had used. It has a filter built in that removes chlorine, odor and bad taste if there is any in your tap water! Easy to set up and use or program to run when you want to brew. Coffee tastes great every time.

Coffee is Fuel
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this coffee maker for about a month now, and I am very pleased. It has a nice stainless steel look and sits nicely under the cabnet. The timer works well with either pre-ground coffee or whole bean coffee. I just finished a cup of coffee a few minutes ago that the machine ground the beans for and it was very good. I would buy this product again.

Best grinder coffee maker!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent coffee maker that is programmable and will grind your beans for each pot of coffee brewed. The customer support from Cuisinart is outstanding should any problem occur. I highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone wanting a fresh ground cup of coffee in the morning.

Very nice coffeemaker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To many parts to clean, it is easy to brew but a pain to clean. The grinder fills with steam so it has to be cleaned as well. The slainless steal is nice it keeps the coffee warm longer than glass. But this coffee maker doesnt have a hot plate on bottom so the coffee doesnt get too hot or stay hot very long. The quality is great top noch, but alittle over priced.

Great Grind & Brew
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've owned this Cuisinart Grind & Brew for about 2-weeks and I'm pleased with my purchase as this machine does everything as advertised which results in a good cup of coffee. I primarily bought it because of the "unbreakable" coffee pot and the stainless finish of the machine, overall it matches my kitchen well and I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Enjoying my coffee!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the 2nd grind and brew that I have owned. The 1st one had been acting odd so I knew it was time for another. I had the 1st one for at least 5 years and I paid the same price so I think I got my money's worth out of it. I love the grind and brew feature and I love the thermal carafe. With tile floors, I am afraid to have a glass carafe and I think the coffee tastes better in the thermal carafe. Some people have complained about the cleaning but I have no problem with it. It's takes 5 minutes to clean the parts, big deal .I highly recommend this coffee maker and when this one goes, I will definitely buy another.

Worst Product on the Market--A Disaster
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In short, I decided to spend a bit more money to purchase a product that looked good, had the ability to grind beans, and was programmable since I get up at 5 am and wanted my coffee ready upon waking up. What a mistake! Within no time at all I was waking up to half a pot of coffee all over my counter tops, down my cabinets and onto my floors-not what you want to have to deal with at 5 am. This was happening consistently, so I contacted customer service, who told me to soak the lid of the carafe in part vinegar-part water for 24 hours. I tried that and for a few days the problem resolved, only to resume only days later. On a side note, during this time period I went to a party at my cousin's house and everyone staring screaming that the coffee was spilling all over her counters...you guessed it...same machine. She said that it happens all the time on hers as well and that she received the same lame response from customer service. She was also fed up with the machine and getting rid of it. We have both decided to literally take these expensive machines and throw them straight into the garbage, opting for the good old reliable Mr. Coffee, I am disappointed that I can't grind my beans in it, but at least I no longer go through a roll of paper towels at 5 am every morning. Avoid this machine at all cost. It is a complete waste of money.

Excellent Grind & Brew Coffee Maker
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have our original Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee maker for MANY years and it continues to operate without issue. I purchased a new one for a customer, and set it up for her. The new one is not nearly as loud, is very well made and definitely has design improvements. Offering fresh grinding, filtering through a gold filter (which lets more of the coffee oils through) into a carafe (so your coffee doesn't burn from extended heating) really does provide the best coffee experience short of a press. Yes - a press is better, but it's inconvenient, messy and only provides a single cup of coffee. Highly recommended for a good cup of coffee to start your day - from a discriminating coffee drinker.

Makes great coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Makes great tasting coffee. Programmable so you can have coffee when you get up in the morning. Water fill line is on the side and easy to see. Can be used with already ground coffee as well as whole beans. Coffee is brewed into a thermos and doesn't sit on a hot plate which means it tastes fresh all day. Cleanup is a little bit of a chore as you have to clean the grinder as well as the filter with the coffee grounds.

love grinding own coffee
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this because we love grinding our coffee fresh - it is ground every morning. It is fun to add cinnamon or orange peel to give it a different flavor, Also gives you latitude in mixing coffee.

If you want your coffee everywhere except the pot.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our initial experience with this model was OK, but then again, the coffee maker we had before really sucked! The coffee was hot and tasty; but I hated the fact that you must clean and thoroughly dry the 'bean bucket' each time you want to 'grind and brew', otherwise the grounds create a mud and clog the 'bucket'... big hassle! Then, after about 6 months it decides to brew half the pot onto our kitchen counter, but only sometimes! We'd meticulously clean, pamper and dry the unit, baby-sit while it brewed... nothing. But when left all alone for a few minutes we'd come back to a puddle of steaming hot coffee all over the place. Returning to the store for full refund and beginning our search for the next contender.
