This toaster is the best! The long slots handle 4 slices of regular sized bread as well as 2 large pieces of sour dough. It also is large enough that you can do 2 bagels at a time.

Ideal for two people wanting toaste anything. No more waiting for my muffin or waffle - YAY!

We had our kitchenaid toaster for twenty years! It finally needed replacing not because it stopped working but because the handle to press it down broke. After getting this toaster we wish we had replaced it sooner. Having larger slots makes toasting sourdough bread much easier and less time consuming! We love this new toaster but wont wait twenty years again to replace it.

Love this for odd shaped specialty favorite breads...fits great for these kinds like peasant, rye, sourdough breads.Also fits standard bread, 2 to a slot toasts well for families

A great toaster with longer slots to take most sizes of bread also has a bagel setting. It was in stock at a fair price.

I very much like the long slice for toasting artisanal breads. It toasts evenly and the reheat feature is nice. My one complaint, and this is a big one because I eat a lot of bagels, is that the bagel setting does not allow for one sided toasting, it seems to toast both sides evenly causing any toppings (seeds, onions, etc.)to burn. My former toaster and indeed every toaster I have ever encountered prior to this has a bagel setting that when pushed toasts only one side of the bagel. So I am not entirely sure what this bagel button actually does, manual says it toasts them longer, but why I ask you. I was desperate for a toaster because mine died and I had company coming in 3 days. So would I buy this again? Nope! Recommend to others? Nope. By the way it received high ratings with none of the above mentioned in reviews that I saw.

The slide action seems kind of cheesy for this unit. Not quite what I thought for a Cuisinart unit.

Dude these slots are HUGE! We use Dave's Killer Bread and you can fit 2 slices in one side. So you can make 4 at one time! Also defrosts hashbrowns fast.

Great to handle traditional breads and the longer, thicker artisan breads. Toasts evenly No issues thus far.

Purchased it to replace an older large slot. Does the job.

We don't feel like the knob to set the cooking setting stays in place consistently. It is slim, but also takes longer than we'd like to heat up and cook.

My wife loves sourdough avocado toast, but had to put one end and the other into a regular toaster. Problem solved!

My 20 year old T Fal was better, I may drag it back out and use it instead. Problem is uneven heating, bagel function- not really, burns the back side, looks great but, functionality is the pits. Just not what I expected from this brand.
