Have no idea when it happened. This coffee maker is a really good choice and why I replaced old with a new one without any hesitation. The only thing this one doesn't have that the old one had was a ding that let you know that the coffee had finished brewing and when the coffee maker was turning off.

With a quality product lasting that long I’d never buy anything else. My only wish is that this pot was insulated as I drink coffee longer than the burner stays on.

Only give it three stars as it makes a lot of sputtering noise when in use and this is the second one I‘ve had in 3 years ... first one stopped brewing good coffee. Coffee was watery even when using the Bold button.

Ability to program to h-o-t is unique; never have had such a great feature. Coffee is tasty, I prefer to opt for beeps when ready to pour. Gold filter & charcoal filter included!
