    I bought this because it has a similar look to my old one. My wife likes the look too! It doesn’t have the removable tank that you can take to the sink though

    I owned the Ninja coffee maker and it sucks because it had to be constantly cleaned and you can’t use the Ninja when it demands to be cleaned which is about every 3 weeks. This Cuisinart has been great replacement relative to cleaning. I just cleaned it for the first time in 4 months after daily use. It brews well, it’s easy to use and it’s convenient. My only “con” is that right out of the brewer, the coffee is not hot enough. It needs to sit on the heating plate for a bit to come up to heat

    I like that it has a 1-4 cup option. Brews great coffee (I use the 'bold' option) and it's a relatively small form-factor for a 14 cup coffeemaker so I was able to find counter space for it.

    This coffee maker looks good and works well. I see at least two design flaws. There is a water level viewer on only one side, not both. The carafe lid is not hinged.

    In the past I've always bought the cheaper, plastic coffee makers that sell for $20 - $30 on sale. After buying this one, I feel bad making my husband suffer through those for 30 years! Depending on the brand they dripped, overflowed the filter or made lukewarm coffee. This is a real coffee maker and doesn't do any of those. The coffee is strong and very hot - almost boiling. We've been using it with the permanent (no paper) filter and it works great.
