    Cuisinart coffee maker is programmable. It can make 14 cups. There are three settings for coffee strength.

    I haven't had this but for a month, but I like the fact that it is easier to pour water into the tank, and that when you open the lid water doesn't flow down the back as it did with my Cuisinart -DCC-1200. After a few run-throughs, the coffee is fine.

    Did a lot of research before buying this machine. Temperature and brew strength were important to us. This has heat control for the heat plate, has a nice size spray pattern for the water for optimal brew plus a Bold option. Overall hit all the marks and brews quickly. Good price for a good unit.

    If you want to make a good tasting pot of coffee everyday, this will do it. It will also keep it nice and hot. Carafe lid does not flip. It must be removed to fill or clean (if that bothers you). Makes really smooth, good tasting coffee!

    I had Cuisinart Coffee maker before this one. It was broken when moving to a new home. What I like about this particular model is you can set the burner temperature to low, medium and hot. I set it to medium to keep the coffee fresh for a little longer without the burned taste. I love it! hopefully it will serve me for long time.

    I debated between this one and one of the dual kind for single servings but decided I didn't like the issue with the single servings adding to the landfill problem. This one is easy to set up and can still be set for smaller pots or full pots. It doesn't take up too much counter space but looks nice where it is.
