    Do not buy this product. Can't pour water in to fill without it spilling and making a big mess. The worst coffeemaker I have had in 50 years.

    Happy at first but six months later it started leaking. I changed filters, etc. and now water fills the basket and coffee doesn't brew. Grounds everywhere!

    When it is brewing and I got a cup of coffee the top pushes up and it can cause the water to back up and leak everywhere. Once I saw this I saw that I was careful to check.

    It makes coffee successfully, that’s about the most I can say for it. The carafe dribbles horribly - using it to fill the water reservoir results in about half a cup of water spilled on the counter no matter how carefully you pour. Getting a replacement carafe from Cuisinart didn’t help, both are equally terrible. The surface of the hot plate also started peeling off after about 7 months of use. Ditching this thing for an upgrade to a Breville.

    We bought this in August and it made great coffee until today. The water chamber started leaking and water was running out where the electrical cord comes out of the back of the coffee pot. This is the second Cuisinart coffee pot to malfunction in less than a year after purchasing it. While it was working, we loved it but it should last longer than six months.
