This has been an excellent add-on to either breakfast lunch even snacks.. a rush french toast can be prefectly done by this. No oils and very easy to do. I love how it is done.

Got this to make sandwiches instead of putting them in the pan all the time, only to find out that if you don't use cooking spray or butter the sandwich or omelet or anything sticks so bad you can't get it off the plates. The directions say wipe out with a cloth...no not going to happen. First night tried to make an omelet, as per the direction (2 eggs some ingredients NOT OVER EATING LIKE SOME HAVE CLAIMED) and it overflowed all over the counter, the machine..what a mess. I had to take the machine and run it under water to get it all clean.. Second night I tried to make a ham and cheese, three slices of ham, two slices of cheese...it stuck so bad I had to scrape it out. SOOOO I tried again and sprayed Pam all over it, still sticky but I still had to scrape, and the cheese melted all over the back of the machine and the counter. Overall, this is not a good machine because of the small triangle shapes on the plates, the fact they do not come out to clean, the mess it makes, and in general the lack of good design. Get a sandwich press, you will be much happier.

I love toasted sandwiches, I could live off them. Having gone without a toaster for a few years I decided to buy this one. Well I have done a load of experiments and this product totally fails at its job. If your sandwich has cheese in it, it melts out...everytime. I followed the recipes suggested exactly, weighing each ingredient. The only way to keep it in is to gently rest the lid on the bread....the cheese sometimes stays in, but then the sandwich is not sealed and falls about when you take it out. Toasted tuna....same thing. Chicken Mayo, same thing. You have to be so stingy on the ingredients to make this work (like 1 tbls of tuna mix for a whole sandwich!). Plus the bread plates don't fit any known brand of bread sold in my County! (trust me, I measured!) so if it seals at the top, the sides are open. Then the clean up comes. For some reason it has been designed with nooks and crannies everywhere that fill up with gunk. It took me about 20 minutes to clean after each time, using sponges, paper towels and toothpicks. I still can't get it out of the coiled electrical thing at the back....that can't be bad right? Overall a waste of time completely.

Makes great grill cheese. I jus dint like how it looks but taste great..

Following the directions, tried making a grilled ham and cheese sandwich. Cheese leaked out all over the sides and countertop. With the design of the griddle, a regular size sandwich (nothing too big) comes out flat with unnecessary creases. Would not recommend using cheese of any kind or anything that would melt. Putting designs in the griddle really messed up the functionality of what could have been a good product.

it was ok but clean up was hard. after making the samwitch i did not do any thing else because i did not like the mess. but if you wanted it just to make grilled cheese it would be ok

I purchased the grill thinking that it was more than a cute pressed sandwich grill. That is all that it is and as that - the price is fair. That is all that it does. Too bad it did not have more grilling capability. Even interchangeable sandwich molds would create additional value. It was my mistake in thinking a small appliance priced at under $20 would provide some of the benefits of a $100 grill. Thank you Best Buy for allowing me to obtain a refund. That is why you are my favorite electronics store.

We bought this grill because we love to eat grilled sandwich at home, however, after 2 months, its handle broke. its material is very weak.
