I bought this based on the thought of no overspill and ease of use. The concept is great and truly makes sense, but it’s not perfect. The provided cup has to be full in order for it to be the “perfect” measurement, which is very difficult to accomplish. Because of this, it’s very easy to under-fill or over-fill. The waffle maker does not consistently fill up correctly which causes it to make incomplete waffles. In summary, the product truly is a GREAT concept, there are just a few kinks to work out.

I was hesitant to buy this waffle maker because it sits upright so I thought the liquid would spill out of it. But it doesn't. It makes waffles perfectly fine. I haven't stopped using it. Love it

This makes perfect waffles every time, only drawback is when I add extras to my batter, like cranberries, nuts, etc. the batter doesn't go all the way down, resulting in quarter sized waffles.

Great waffle makers I say makers cause I bought two of them really easy and no mess left around easy use love it I used it to make waffles for my co-workers a total of 400 members I have no words

This waffle maker is outstanding! It's worth the money and makes great waffles. I am very pleased with my purchase. Definitely would recommend this waffle maker to anyone who is looking for one!

Man this is such an awesome waffle maker! Make waffles everyday ! 5 minutes to warm up and up to 5 minutes to cook less if u like it softer. So glad we got this one. Clean up is a breeze

At first glance the vertical waffle maker looks odd but they cone out perfect every time. The instruction book also has the simplest recipe that tastes great.

It makes waffles well enough to get them browned without having to spray oil. Wish it could do betteron getting it crispy, but it looks like I may have to use oil for it.

Was a little problem getting the right amount in at first but with experience worked that out. Make good waffles. We like setting 5.

Great space saver but takes a few tries to get the right amount of batter to make FULL waffle. Easy cleaning and out of the way.

Works as advertised. READ THE DIRECTIONS for amount of waffle mix to use so it doesn't overflow! Using the included measuring cup is a must!

I love the idea of this but it’s too messy. You have to use the supplied measuring scoop. You cannot pour the mix from the scoop to the waffle maker without it running down the side. Then to get the waffle just perfect, you have to scrape all the leftover mix from the scoop in there. You can’t just eliminate the scoop and eyeball it because then you’ll overflow it and that makes a mess. But I will say it does make fabulous perfectly brown waffles.

It's a great waffle maker just difficult with certain recipes. You don't always know which ones will overflow with certain mixes.

I have used it many times. It makes cooks the waffles good every time. I like making waffles with this Cuisinart waffle maker.
