Gets really messy around the top where you pour in the batter making clean up a little cumbersome. Still working on the best mixture to make the best waffle. My kids love it!

This is the best thing my money can buy and I would buy everyone that I know one of these. It is a must have and I strongly recommend this item.

It can be difficult at first to use the right amount of mixture: too little and you get half a waffle, too much and it will start bubbling and make a mess. Once you get the hang of how much mixture to use then waffles come out great.

I got this one to replace a different one I already had. Love this one because you can't over fill or under fill. Therefore you don't get an over or under cooked waffle/

I was attracted to this totally different way to make waffles. I expected to eliminate the spillovers and cleanup of the horizontal appliances and it was somewhat cleaner, but I probably would not choose it again. The opening is small and my hands aren't steady enough to pour cleanly. It does require less storage space and that was one of the things I required. I am not as excited about it as I was when I saw it on the shelf at the store, but I'll live with it for now.

Love everything about this BUT the cup provided does not fill a whole waffle. You must use several (2.5) to get a full waffle. Other than that I love it.

Wasn't originally sure about getting this item at first due some negative reviews, but I must say that for us it has been just fine. Incidentally, there is no such way tpo make waffles that don't include some amount of mess,

Never owed a waffle maker before so decided to try this out. Works great just make sure u do not over fill or your mix will come out the time. Wish it made more than one at a time.

It's a good product. I wish it had an on/off switch. Plugging it in and off is very inconvenient. However, I can't complain as the cost was minimal:. It's a good value!

The only thing we deslike is that when you pour the battle with nuts the nuts get stuck. As opposed to the horizontal one where it wouldn't happen bcz the distribution of the nuts will be more even as you desire to lay them

I bought this for my wife because she loves waffles and always wanted a vertical waffle maker. She has used this product a few times and does not like it at all. (In fact, she hates it.) The problem is that the small hole where you pour that batter is so small that you can't add anything like fruit or bacon bits to the waffle. To add anything, you have to use it as a horizontal waffle maker, and when you do the batter sticks and is hard to get a fully intact waffle out. This seems to be a design flaw. She now wants a horizontal waffle maker because this one just does not work well. It is an exercise in frustration every time. Not recommended.

Tried this for Christmas week breakfast. Had to place a little more mix than than the inserted cup in package. Once I did, perfect waffle. Granddaughters loved them. Love the timer, cooks perfect.

Good but not great. Batter gets caught in throat if it's just a little thicker. Browning control doesn't have enough settings. I like my waffles crispy brown outside and soft inside. This waffle iron doesn't do it, always too soft for my taste. Either leaving it in for an extra cycle or putting it in toaster oven to finish cooking. I would not recommend this to anyone. Next time I'm buying a conventional horizontal model.

Because of the design, this takes up very little storage space. Between this waffle maker and the Klondike mix, I’m now considered the princess of Sunday morning brunch.

Easy to use to make Belgian Waffles, bakes perfect. Both sides of the waffles look pretty and brown evenly. This vertical waffle maker allows the batter to fill the mold.

Got this waffle maker so that the kids could experiment with different flavors of waffles and simply because they love waffles more than pancakes. It is easy to clean and cooks waffles thoroughly.

It took a few tries for me to get the measurements accurate, but now I've figured out the right amount. Anyone ready for breakfast?

Intriguing because it is vertical and saves space. Waffles have a good crunchy finish on a setting of four and above. This beats the heck out of the cheap waffle maker it replaced.

I'm not convinced vertical is better. If you're making true Belgian waffles with whipped egg whites the batter is too thick to pour into the top of the waffle maker. It is kind of awkward to lay this maker on the side

Fun to use this little machine. A bit hard to keep clean but 100% work the money. Great Sunday breakfasts at our house before church!
