Powerful enough to run small electronics

We had two computers, a laptop and desktop plugged into it with monitors plugged into a different surge protector from a different outlet. The idea was to keep the pc’s running long enough to safely shut them down in case of power outage. What a transformer in the area failed, it kicked in but could not provide enough power to run both computers. However, after unplugging the pc’s, it had plenty of power to run the modem, router and some other small electronics for the two hours of the power outage.
