The CyberPower - 1000VA Battery Back-Up System works as well as it should.

I needed battery back-up for my computer system and accessories. This unit provides the dependable back-up at a great price. Best Buy had a wide selection, and this one fit my needs.

This product is just what we needed to keep our expensive electronics from frying due to lightning or other power surges.

I bought this for a gaming PC I just built and so far it's doing great. It tells you how much load is on the power supply with everything that's plugged in to it (mine currently runs at about 30-40% which is good). My computer puts out about 300W and this is rated for 530W so this UPS is more than enough. Just an FYI, only 6 of the 12 outlets will run on the battery, so take that into consideration.

As far as battery back-ups goes, this one performs excellently.

I enjoy the peace of mind that backup power for my computers &router will keep them going during the several periodic power outages that occurs through the year.When a major outage occurs during hurricane season I disconnect everything but my router , and use my power packs( I have 2) to keep my cell phone charged.

Bought this as a replacement for a very old battery backup system that stop working.

My old Dell desktop was shutting off every time I sent a document to the laser printer. A tech friend recommended battery backup so the printer wouldn't draw on the battery in the computer. There is only one circuit in the office. This worked beautifully. We have a whole house surge protector, but I like having it here as well. We get small power fluctuations frequently. Thanks.

My neighborhood has occasional power problems when bad weather comes in. I have 2 of these CP 1000V UPSs for helping to maintain electronics (security system, network devices, etc) by keeping them up whenever the power blips. Mind you, they cannot maintain loads for very long, so an actual power outage will require turning them off before the UPS battery drains after a few minutes, but at least this allows you to gracefully power them down so you don't risk them dying from a sudden power loss or even a surge.

We use these on all the computers in our office. Very reliable.
