Customers are saying

Customers admire the 1000VA Battery Back-Up System for its exceptional battery life, overall performance, ease of use, and surge protection capabilities. Many appreciate its compact size, reasonable price, and the abundance of outlets it offers. While some users have noted that the device can be a bit noisy when activated and slightly heavy, and that the instructions could be clearer, the positive aspects appear to outweigh these concerns.

This product is great! Works as expected with lots of outlets. My only issue (with all surge prot./ battery) is the orientation of the outlets. The items that need back up or power surge protection always have an awkward or large plug. This prevents the use of every outlet due to large plugs taking up two spaces. Please someone invent a product that accommodates multi sized plugs! Otherwise, great product!

Find it hard to believe I got two bad units all I can surmise is these are garbage. All I have plugged into it is my gaming tower PC and one monitor. It boots up, although very slowly and as soon as I start to play a game it seems to draw too much wattage and it errors and Powers down. Which is ridiculous because a power strip plugged into the wall works better

Hello Ratdago, I believe that this is the wrong product for your needs and your issue does not stem from the product itself. The maximum supported wattage of this model of UPS is 530W on battery. Even a modest gaming PC will exceed this load fairly easily, the fact that an overload alarm occurs once you begin to game, which would increase the load, supports this as well. The product is fully designed to shut down when that maximum wattage is exceeded to protect the battery and all connected equipment. It is recommended that the load of your connected equipment does not exceed 80% of the maximum load of the UPS. CyberPower

UPS units weren't designed for extended battery run times but there are larger units available if you were looking to increase the run time. If you have any questions or need help selecting a unit, please contact our team at 877-297-6937. Thank you for sharing your review! CyberPower

Purchased this recently and have had no issues. Really like the AVR feature, it's what sold me on this over the APC brand. So far, so good in an area that loses power frequently.

A glorified power strip. The charging part stopped working correctly after a few weeks. Kept beeping at us, then shutting everything down like it was possessed. We finally had to shut the charging part off and just use it as a power strip. Not worth your time or money.

The plugs are not far enough apart. Most of the computer related equipment we want to plug in use “wall warts”, that take up enough space such that you can’t begin to use all the available plugs. Poor design. If I had realized this I would have gotten a bigger one even though I don’t need that many plugs.

It just keeps beeping just as the window for exchange has closed. So what am I supposed to do with this annoying beeping sound?.I still love the product, I believe I received a faulty book. So I am sceptical to reccomend it to my friends. My enemies maybe, my friend no way.!!!
