This unit only lasted about nine months, then the batteries were shot.

It died within 3 years. Should be better than that.

This may have been defective item . Traded it for another model-new one is fine

After consulting with Cyber Power technical support, I returned it to Best Buy for a higher powered 1500 VA UPS made by Cyberpower that better suited my needs.

Was packaged with a bad battery. One whole side doesn’t work at all

The unit worked excellent for over a year with brief power glitches until it was put to test during a long outage after hurricane Irma. Prior to the hurricane I acquired an extra battery. I figured with two fully charged batteries I would be all set to power small devices (charge phone, modem, router, VOIP, tablet, etc) for an extended period of time. When the power went down during hurricane Irma, the UPS went on backup mode as expected. I then powered down my desktop computer and turned the UPS off to preserve the battery (other devices were still connected) since I didn't need it for at least a few hours. Later I tried to turn the UPS back on but nothing happened. I then realized that IT NEEDS TO BE CONNECTED TO LINE CURRENT IN ORDER TO TURN ON THE UPS. So I had two fully charged batteries which were now useless because I couldn't turn the UPS back on. I still had live AT&T DSL, but nothing to power the modem, router, VOIP, tablet, or charge my phone. How stupid! That's like having a backup generator that needs to be connected to line current in order to turn it on. Apparently these CyberPower UPSs are designed to only maintain power for a short time after power failure, and not function as a stand alone inverter (even though they should be perfectly capable of doing so). So after the hurricane I had to go shopping for a voltage inverter, which I suppose I can use to "jump" my UPS when I need to turn it on when the power is down.

This is an excellent product. I especially like the number of outlets it offers, enough for all my needed connections. An important feature is that it lies flat while other types that are used in a vertical position might tip over. The unit also monitors voltage provided by the wall outlet.

This product is great especially since it has additional plugs as can be seen in the picture which is nice and handy. It is also very heavy but to me that makes it very durable. It is a reliable backup system and I highly recommend it. As a side note, the purchase process was easy and smooth.

These are a must have for any kind of entertainment center with a big screen TV, game consoles, disc players, stereo setups, and anything else. You want everything with any kind of upgradeable software or firmware connected to the battery sockets so that if you lose power, you wont brick the device in the middle of an upgrade or reset. You can also connect it via USB to a computer and use cyberpower’s personal software to monitor the unit and its operation.

I bought this product to keep my modem and routing up in case of an extended power failure as I am adding smart devices to my home, smart thermostat, water alarm detectors. I cannot speak to how long it will keep a laptop running. But for my modem and router, it is about 6 hours. I live in a city and generally power outages don't last that long. If you live in a rural area, you want longevity for sure. It has 6 batteries in the pack.

Bought this product because my old one quit working. Needed a new battery but didn't have time to find one. Glad I bought this when I did, because that night the power went out 3 times for about 11/2 hours and this kept my computer and Wi-Fi running. I was downloading a program and would have lost everything if I hadn't bought this battery back-up. A great product that did what it was supposed to do.

I have two of these units, one for my home theater (AV unit, Blu-ray, TV, Cable Box, Streaming boxes, and another for use by lamps, chargers and the like. Both units are just fabulous.

I'm online at Best Buy looking for a new UPS. I have this model LE1000DG and the battery has gone out. Usually, these last 3-5 years. Mine lasted over 6 years and I was very happy with how it performed.

Great backup/surge protection unit with 12 easily accessible outlets. Spacing between outlets great for larger configuration plugs. Optional software download and USB connection good to allow controlled shutdown of computer prior to end of battery life after long duration outage. Only problem was with the instructions. Product registration address was incorrect and had to call to manually register. Also, a little more information could assist in explaining UPS options and capabilities. However, called customer service and they were very helpful. Even walked me thru software download and answered all technical questions effectively.

Excellent value for the money compared to other brands.

While we haven't had to truly test it, it seems great. I love the readout that tells you how much power it has. We seem to have power blips a lot more often these days so we bought it to survive the blips. I think this is going to work great.

Does what it says its going to do. We've been having brownouts lately and this saves from the taking the cable box 10 minutes to reboot at the slightest flicker.

Needed a higher capacity UPS to backup my computer and wanted to have monitoring and auto shut down capability. This model had the right cost to benefit ratio. It has already kept my computer on line through an utility power disruption.
