Great Unit If Arrives in Protective Packing.

Frustration: 1st unit arrived in original shelf type box which had slashes in cardboard, dents, packing tape everywhere, styrofoam inside broken. Decision after BB consultation: plug in and try. But the steel prong was bend: couldn't plug in. Explained to BB about poor packaging. First one looked like re-stocked model. Received 2nd one NextDayAir. Box had smaller slashes, both brown paper tape and clear packing tape. Phoned to ask why a $200+ unit would be shipped without proper packing. This one worked. Woos have been 5 star but for the frustration, etc.

I mean it sort of just sits there doing whatever it does. Not sure how to review this as I haven't really used it for its intended purpose. Does that make me a bad person for not giving its life meaning? I bought is the back up for my pellet stove. They have replaceable batteries so buy the biggest you can to give you the most time to get back up power online in the event of a power failure.

    Known Issues with this model

My unit bought In 2022 tripped an alarm. I reset and keep using it. Noticed my PC would say battery low and shutdown. It’s a desktop PC, Not a laptop. Called Cyberpower there is a known issue with this unit and the fix is to replace it. They are sending me a replacement. But I dont trust it now. I bought a APC UPS. On YouTube i found that they use an adhesive to keep larger capacitors from breaking off the boards in these units. These adhesive when gets old becomes brittle and becomes conductive. Which can cause shorts and even worse. I have loss confidence in Cyberpower. This is just my experience. Hopefully yours is better

Look, you should have one of these even if you aren't concerned about data loss during a power outage. Just nice smooth power delivery regardless of your landlords cheaper than cheapest bidder wiring job. Does exactly what it says it does. No noticeable radiant heat. Immediate integration with Windows. Display is nice and clear and kind of handy.

I bought this quite a long time ago, but the virus and computer parts problems kept me from building the machine I had wanted. Only recently did I finally put the machine together. I'm new at this, but all is well so far. I love my CyberPower! So many available sockets! Reading the specs, I can see it's probably far better than I even needed. But I'm going to do 3D rendering and I read that I need a good balanced power source. So far, in a few renders it's handled the Rtx 3080 Ti's needs perfectly. I desperately need this system to work and I'm so happy I went higher in quality than necessary on the parts!

    COVID-19 Work-From-Home Necessity

Now this is necessary for the Pandemic Work-From-Home. Both my wife and I are working from home remotely and on several occasions, we've had either a power surge or power outage. Even the smallest of outages can cause your Internet Router and Computer to completely reboot! Not anymore! This Universal Power Supply (UPS) and Surge Protector should handle both! Although not all power outlets on the unit are backed by the UPS functionality, all of them are surge protected. The USB-2 and USB-C outlets on the front of the unit also ensure our cell phones can remain charged and surge protected. A little pricey, but worth it in the long run when we don't have to apologize for dropping from a virtual meeting due to the power outage.
