This one replaces my older CP1500AVRLCD that always worked very well...but, started cycling on and off frequently while on a whole house 14Kw Kohler generator...even with new batteries installed. So far this new model is not having any issues on the default setting. Plus this one has adjustable sensitivity if needed and other nice features. I recommend this newer model.

Maybe a minor point, but I also prefer the "tower" units over the ones that lay more horizontal. It seems I tend to kick those more. It also looks cool: like one of those modular things plugged into a control stack on the Death Star. I'm pretty sure that makes it work better.

I really like the fact that this one doesn't have a bunch of led lights shining all the time and that the sine wave feature ensures a clean supply to my computer equipment.

It comes with a USB cable that you can attach to your computer so that it can do perform a system shutdown when the UPS is nearly out of power. It also lets you do some monitoring of the UPS and run tests without having to use the built in controls on the unit.
