simple entry level backup

This model has a much higher Joule rating than others which is great for power surges. It is a good value for a basic battery backup if you don't have a lot of power demands.

Good if you can get it in 1 piece

Unfortunately it did not stand up to the abuse of UPS's shipping and was returned in pieces (for a full refund). So my review reflects a replacement purchased elsewhere as BestBuy was then sold out.
