Fails when battery is low

No message, no warning, nothing. 30 minutes later, I get a loud beeping from the UPS about the dying battery. Too little too late. Failed to perform the one job it needed to: preventing unexpected shutdowns. Unit should have swapped fully to passing through utility power instead of a loss of power.

Posted .Hello KazOrnelius, I am glad you reached out about this, it would appear though that there may be some confusion about this product. This unit uses sealed lead acid batteries that have a usable lifespan that we expect to be in the range of 3-5 years with typical use so it failing at the 5 year mark is a great sign and at this point your unit just needs new batteries and you should be able to continue using it with no issue. Caught Fire after 1 week

My wife smelled burning and it was this brand new UPS. Returned to BB and purchased a different brand. This was the second cyberpower to fail. The first developed a fault and would not output power even after changing the batteries it was 3 yrs old. This one caught fire so yea no more.
