Short battery time
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All I have plugged into it is a 32'' led TV. It lasts about 1 minute. I guess it's only good for surge protection.

Battery Backup Did Not Work!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The first one I ordered, all of the outlets on the battery backup side were dead. So Best Buy sent me another right away (great service), I plugged it in and after a week we had a storm and a power failure while I was on the computer. I had plugged only my Asus all-in-one (not super powerful) and my phone into it, and it did not work, my computer went down! I will not buy this brand again.

Lightweight; Great Size
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was surprised at how light this is but construction seems durable. Perfect size and price for this item. I'm using it with my laptop; I like having the surge protection plus the extra battery backup in case of an extended power outage.

Not good for high end machines
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this mainly because of the price. I saw that it was one of the basic ones that only had 8 plug ins and could retain power for 25 mins. 25 mins is plenty of time to save everything and power off your computer safely if the power goes out. When I first started plugging everything into this new ups, everything was going good at first. I had my computer plugged in with no problems. I started plugging in my other desk items such as my low power Logitech speakers, and my beta fish filter (not concerned with it being protected, but it is on my desk with my other stuff). Everything was good then I plugged in my laser printer, big mistake. The ups shut off almost as soon as I plugged it in. I unplugged it and reset the safety circuit and powered everything back on. Everything went smoothly until I plugged my printer back in. Keep in mind I don't have one of those huge printers that take a whole city to run, just a basic cheap laser printer for school. This thing can't handle what it says it can. If these few items trip the circuit, then its not made very well. I'm not going to risk my computer that I've invested well over $1000 in with this cheap ups. If your looking for something to just plug in maybe a cheap workstation or just a laptop, then this may be good to get. Otherwise I would not get this one. Go with the APC one instead.

Great for power outages
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This replaced an older model that I had for almost 7-years and they battery gave out. Much smaller than the older one with the same # of plugs. I love having the battery backup on my electronics - we always lose power and once had a TV fried from the surge - now, no more worries!

Nice battery backup for general use
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This battery backup is good for general use. It serves its purpose for me. At my house we get a lot of short (less than a minute) outages and it works perfect in that regards. If you have longer outages than this battery backup would not be for you. This is my first time buying a Cyberpower product as I always purchase the APC products but it was $15 cheaper so I thought I would give it a try. If you want to know how often your power goes out then i would purchase the model with the USB feature.

Perfect for small stuff
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i went with this, as this was only needed to power my cable modem and router. the downside to this model is, there is no USB port on it, to hook up to a computer, so you can program it. In this case, i wanted to turn the alarm sound OFF , so it would be quiet all the time. So, it can't be programmed or use the PowerPanel software that CyberPower has available. Otherwise it is nice, the mounting holes on the back are slightly flimsy, even when you get a nice tight fit, the thing still wiggles when wall mounted. Overall I am happy with it, I gave it 4 stars, cause i really thought turning the alarm off would be a simple feature, which it doesn't have. I shall void the warranty and cut the speaker wire(s)

Very good battery back up & surge protector for $$
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. For the money, this battery back up & surge protector works well. Our power has gone off and the tone emitted from the system, gave me plenty of time to shut down,

Good Backup
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this because i needed a backup for my computer, my computer is 500 watts and it works very good, Im using the ups software that comes with windows becasue i can set it to hibernate, the software they include only shuts down the comptuer, it was fully charged out of the box, but it is best to let it charge for the 4 hours they say. 3 of the plugs are allways on and the other 3 are on the backup and can be turned off, you can plug in your phone line to protect that (who uses a phone line to use the internet now???) Over all its a good system Now I need to buy my self one for my other comptuer :)

WORKS GREAT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unit installed with almost no effort. I am using to power my wireless modem, wireless router, wireless print server, and my printer. Seems to handle all fine. One complaint is that it has a serial output and requires an adaptor to hook up to modern USB ports.

CyberPowerPC - 425VA
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first CyperPowerPC product. I have always went with APC, but with the large price difference, I decided to get this one a shot. Thus far, I have not had any issues. My desktop PC has been online since the day I installed it. I seem to have a lot of power 'chirps' where the power just fails for a second or two...which causes everything to shut-down and start flashing. Hopefully, the battery will last a while.

So far so good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to cover brown outs and the occasional power glitches that cause DirectTV to have to re-establish connection that takes way too long. No complaints so far and with the sale price they had this at when I bought it, the deal was too good to pass up.

Ok Battery Back-Up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just remember you get what you pay for, I'm not saying go out and buy a 80 or 100 dollar system to protect your electronics but Cyber Power use to be pretty good , Cons Everyone's getting Cheaper made but prices are not going down . Here they've cut some corners like usb or serial connections to monitor your systems .it has 1 inline phone out 2 line phone 4 surge and 4 battery back-up wow but, dont try to connect to much to it will cycle off (beeping) loosing all your work . Pro's switched systems low end pc 22 inch monitor only on battery back up and 2 things on surge thats it . lights flickered last nite it did its job
