It is practically silent (unlike some other brands) and the outlets are well spaced to allow compatibility with most plugs without blocking outlets. I strongly recommend doing your research in advance of purchasing to understand how long any UPS will support your connected devices on battery backup. Misunderstanding UPS abilities is the most common mistake made by purchasers of UPS systems.
