By December 2021 both units are already faulting and beeping. Will try to return them; or contact manufacturer. Disappointed since CyberPower has done well for me in the past.

Highly Disappointing

Unfortunately I couldn’t take it back. I’m ordering my next one from Amazon because their return policy is better and I’ll be getting a different brand for sure.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So far, so good. I've only had this item for two months. I had two criteria when deciding on it: 1. It have enough backup power to keep a desktop computer and one monitor going long enough for a proper shutdown, 2. It has GNU/Linux support. Since my old backup power unit was only 250VA, this was a big upgrade with 3x the capacity. With the GNU/Linux software (separately downloadable and installed with a package manager), I am able to see that I have upwards of 50+ minutes, with my 550W power supply desktop and 24" LCD monitor, for a clean shutdown. (I was only hoping for 15 min.) The software allows scripting for shutdown, but I've yet to implement, as there's plenty of time to do it myself. Installation was as easy as plugging everything in, then doing a search for the software and installing it.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Using this to power a desktop PC, Raspberry Pi, a small NAS, PoE switch and KVM switch in my office. Runtime is 17 minutes, even with this relatively large load. In addition to CyberPower's own management tool, the UPS is supported by the Network UPS Tools open source project. With that (and a little Python), I'm able to monitor the UPS with Grafana+Prometheus, and to have the attached devices automatically and cleanly powered up+down in the correct order in the event of a sustained power outage. Very happy with this solution and with the compact form factor. Only downside is that battery replacement may be difficult or impossible. Cyberpower's site says that it has to be done professionally and doesn't list a replacement battery.
