It works good, does what I need it to.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid buy, no complaints. Though its too soon to comment on its longevity the product does what it has advertised. Is it to the "t", I doubt it. Anyways it works and the screen is pretty cool aswell.

Perfect size and features!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first UPS and I am so happy with it. I feel protected not just from power outages but power surges as well. This is mainly providing power backup and surge protection to an Unraid storage server and my internet devices. The storage server is the most important because it houses so much important data that I have accumulated over the years and knowing that it is safe from unexpected power outages gives me a sense of relief. Unraid recognizes this UPS immediately via the USB connection to the back of the server and works exceptionally well at shutting down at a certain amount of power that you can configure in the settings. So essentially you can set it up so that the server gracefully shuts down when the UPS has 10 minutes of battery life left. This is exactly the power protection I was looking for. The front panel has a display with so many up-front settings on it that display important information on the battery and power conditions. This gives you the ability to see critical information at a glance and is a very nice feature to have. There is also an audible alarm that sounds when then device is on battery backup letting you know you are on battery power. The USB and USB type -C ports on the front are also a nice addition so you can quickly plug in a device to power or charge. I like the size of this UPS as well. Its small and compact with an acceptable width to sit comfortably next to a desk or in my case, my server. Excellent job by CyberPower on this unit. It looks good and performs awesome. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent UPS System
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The CyberPower LX1500GU3 Battery Backup UPS System checks all the boxes for a home or small business battery backup for a computer and/or other electronic equipment. It has a large reserve capacity, well over 1 hour of battery-powered runtime with a typical computer connected. I actually have 2 of these - one is backup power for my desktop workstation PC, and a second one as backup power for all my network and wifi equipment. The one attached to my PC will run for more than one hour when the power is out, and the one connected to my network equipment will run for about 3 hours or more. The backup unit itself has lots of outlets. The USB-A and USB-C charging ports on the front are very useful. The shape and size of the unit is perfect for under your desk or next to your PC tower. The front display panel is awesome. It's color so you can see if you have a problem at a glance because any abnormal condition shows up as red instead of green or white. The display can also show pretty much every power-related parameter you need to know. Voltage in, voltage out, frequency, power draw, number of power-out events recorded, and on and on. This is a hugely useful feature. I can't think of one negative thing to say about this UPS. I have two of these, and three of the model that was superseded by this one (I have a massive amount of electronic devices!), and highly recommend them.

No-Drama UPS with a sturdy number of outlets.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced a smaller UPS with this one; the system worked right away, the interface on the device is intuitive and the packaging was easy to deal with. The number of outlets is generous and it "just works". Overall, this is a no-drama UPS that fit my needs quite nicely.

Excellent for Workstations or Gaming Towers
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is the easiest UPS unit I have ever set up since the battery is already connected. It is often a pain, especially with these larger, heavier units. All it required was 8 hours of charging prior to use in order to charge up the battery and subsequently allow the unit to be turned on. There are 10 outlets – 5 battery and 5 surge only. Plus, this unit has protection for both network (RJ45) and coaxial cable connections to protect network equipment before or after a modem/router. The front of the unit has a USB A and a USB C port to power/charge devices whether on utility or battery power. This is a huge plus for me because I like to be able to charge my phone without using up a computer USB port. Installing the utility software is simple. All I had to do was install the program and plug in the included USB cable. The software automatically found the UPS without any issue. All of the important settings, such as when to shut down when on battery power, are all easy to find and configure. It has the option to connect to the CyberPower PowerPanel Cloud so the unit can be monitored remotely. If a person does not want to use the software, the front display panel is simple to read with its color display. I can easily scroll through the data with the display button. Screens include input voltage, output voltage, input Hz, load in watts, load in VA, percent of capacity used, and estimated battery runtime. When not needed, the screen turns off to save energy and to make this one sharp-looking UPS unit. Only the power button stays illuminated to show that the unit is powered on. I have my gaming tower with a 650 watt power supply, 4 monitors, and my WIFI router connected to the battery side. The combination uses just over 200 watts or about 21% of the UPS’s capacity on average when the machine is idle. While it is not healthy for a lead acid battery to fully discharge, I pulled the plug and kept working for precisely 5 minutes. The battery drained by 11% in 5 minutes which implies that the runtime should be about 45 minutes. This is exactly what the unit predicted as the estimated runtime before I pulled the plug. While I never anticipate running on battery power that long, there are times when my machine will be drawing a lot more power. It is crucial that the UPS unit can stay on long enough to either allow me to safely shutdown the machine or else trigger an automatic shutdown. This unit can easily handle my demands, so I am satisfied. I would recommend it to anyone with significant power demands, like a gaming tower with multiple monitors.

Great UPS for the price.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.CyberPower LX1500GU3 Battery Backup UPS Systems - Black The CyberPower UPS is a great value. The bright multi-function color display is a great tool to see what’s happening and best of all it goes to sleep and turns off after about a minute. It is powered by 2 12V 9.0 AH batteries that are easily replaceable. When plugged in, fully charged, but turned off the unit pulls 3.1 to 3.4 watts. When turned on with no load it pulls 4.5 to 4.9 watts. When it turns on (no AC power) it outputs 123V at 60 Hz. The 60Hz measurement is stable when no load is applied. When a load of 130 watts is applied (XPS desktop with 3, 27” monitors, external DVD and USB dock) the voltage jumps to 125V and the Hz is measuring at 80 Hz. The 80 Hz measurement is not real because the meter can not understand the simulated sine wave. The built-in meter reads the corrected Hz to be 60 Hz. All voltage and frequency measurements were done with a KILL A WATT P3. When under battery power the unit emits a very slight hum. This is not noticeable with a computer fan noise next to it. The UPS is seen by Windows 10 natively with the supplied USB cable. There is downloadable software “Powerpanel Personal”. This software has a few bugs in it. When the computer goes to sleep it reports that it reconnects when the computer wakes up. I’m sure this is a correct statement, but it is also pointless. It would be better to report after a minute or so that it could not communicate with the UPS. But even after it says it is connected, the task bar Icon still reports “Unable to communicate with UPS”. However, if you click on it, it shows everything as normal. Like I said, a few bugs. There is also a mobile app that you can download and use to see the UPS operation, but again it says it’s just a download, but in the application, it is a paid subscription, why would you want to pay for that. This may be a mistake and you don’t have to pay, I did not even try because it said it was only a free trial. The display is full color with a multitude of options, all of which are very useful. You can have your choice of what you want to see to calculate the actual runtime of your equipment.

Good investment and piece of mind
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Cyberpower UPS is a battery backup and surge protection unit for computer and home theatre use. The unit is about the size of a mini-tower PC and weighs in at 25 pounds. This unit is a beast. The UPS has 5 battery backup/surge ports as well as 5 surge protection only ports on the back of the unit. There are also 2 ethernet ports and 2 coax ports on the back. On the front are standard USB port and a USB-C port for charging devices. On each bank of ports one of the ports is spaced so that you can plug in a large AC adaptor. The unit came well packaged and includes a very detailed set of instructions. The instructions state that you should fully charge the UPS prior to using. Mine came charged to 87% so I plugged it in and charged it to 100% before connecting my desktop computer and 27” 4K monitor on the backup/surge side. I then connected my modem, printer and speakers on the surge only side. After everything was plugged in, I plugged in the UPS and everything came right up. There is a very nice display on the front of the unit that you can toggle through to show the input and output voltage, battery charge level, the amount of time the unit would operate on battery power in the event of an outage as well as how much load your devices are putting on the system. There are a number of programming features that are detailed in the instructions that you can also access through the display. The UPS has Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) to maintain consistent voltage for your devices. Cyberpower offers an APP that allows you to monitor the device from you PC and looks to have some great features. I have not been able to get it to load properly yet but hope to do so soon. Thankfully I have not had a power outage so I can’t speak to the UPS’s ability to provide the backup it is supposed to offer but based on other UPS devices I have had I expect this will perform without issue. With replaceable batteries and a 3-year warranty I expect to have this UPS for a long time. Seems to be a great product.
