    My fifth CyberPower UPS

I own various CyberPower UPS as well as UPS of other brand, some has 2 batteries and some has one. But I have own more Cyberpower UPS than other brand, this shows how good they are. They are great value UPS and battery of each set last more than 3 years. If you have frequent power outage, the battery life might be shorter. Once the battery is at the end of its life, finding replacement battery and replacing the battery is very easy. You don't need a technician to do the job, anyone can do it. UPS not only provide uninterruptable power during power outage but also protect against power surge due to lightning etc. All 10 power outlets provide surge protection and 5 out of the 10 also provide power backup via battery. When the power from utility company drops below 100V, or increase pass 139V, the UPS will kick in to provide safe power level through the surge+battery outlets. I connect my personal tower computer and LCD monitor to the surge+battery outlets, this way I can continue to work and I won't lose data not yet saved. This also will extent life of my data drive. This UPS uses 2 batteries so it has enough power to supply power to my computer for more than 200 minutes during power outage, that's more than 3 hours! If you connect ethernet cable to your computer, it is a good idea to pass it through the UPS. I had a network card burnt by lightning because I did not connect through surge protector. This UPS can protect ethernet cable as well as co-axial cable. I connect my modem and router to my other Cyberpower UPS, peace of mind working from home. I leave my computer power up 24x7, so I also install Cyberpower PowerPanel Personal edition software and connect the UPS to my computer via the included USB cable. This way it will automatically and gracefully shutdown my computer when battery only has 8 minutes left. The software also shows various information about the battery and allow user to configure the UPS. The front panel has color display, usb port and usb-c port, my older UPS does not have color screen nor usb port. The usb ports do not provide quick charge though. The display shows various information about the UPS such as input voltage, output load, battery capacity etc., yellow icon for warning and red icon for fault, very convenient. The single display selector button has 2 functions, cycle through the display as well as enter into configuration mode. I wish it uses more buttons because if you don't have the manual with you, you won't remember the procedure of using just 1 button to configure the UPS but luckily you won't need to configure it because the factory default setting is perfect. Very important to note when selecting UPS, the power output via the battery of this UPS is in simulated sine wave form, some equipment does not work with this type of waveform and requires pure sine wave, if your equipment still shutdown during power outage, this is the reason. CyberPower also has pure sine wave UPS but at a higher price. Removed 1 star due to USB no quick charge and waveform is simulated sine wave.

Some computers, especially those designed for gaming or photo/video editing may need a different UPS because of the power efficiency and quality needs. You can contact our Technical Support team at 1-877-297-6937 and select option 1 for further troubleshooting to see if it is a defective UPS, or possibly a compatibility issue. These units have a 3-year warranty, so if it is in fact a bad unit, we can replace it for you within that warranty. Thank you for your review! CyberPower

So far so good with this CyberPower UPS battery backup system. The UPS arrived in a sturdy box and was well packaged with instructions and a USB cable. The UPS is significantly heavier than I anticipated, but it also has a rather large capacity battery for a consumer grade UPS. The specs on the box say it is a 900 watt battery and that's the proper way to list it, however I always wish manufacturers would also list the battery amp hour capacity. Looking on the CyberPower website, the specs do list the battery as a 9AH battery. However according to my calculations, at 121 volts 900w works out to 7.4AH. I'm not sure where where the discrepancy comes from. The color LCD display is great. It displays lots of information clearly. I also installed the CyberPower PowerPanel Personal software on my Windows PC and the software is also great. It displays all relevant info and settings in a simple and easy format. I have a rather power hungry PC that pull about 100 watts and I can get 90 minutes of backup power with this UPS. I also wanted to test the UPS with more load on it, so I plugged in two 3D printers as well as the PC and it showed it was pulling 310 watts and giving a reserve time of 19 minutes. Plenty of time to shut things down. It has 9 power outlets (5 with surge protection), 1 USB-A and 1 USB-C port. The USB-C port is supposed to have up to 3A current. However I tried it with a Raspberry pi 4b and I received a warning from the pi that it was under powered so I'm not sure if that is a voltage issue or current issue. But the USB-C port should be great for most devices. The unit is extremely quiet. I would highly recommend this UPS.

I've considered Battery Backups a must have for a long time to protect equipment and keep them running in case of a power outage. This is my second CyberPower and I came back because the first worked so well. This CyberPower LX1500GU3 Battery Backup works exactly as it should and you need it to. I'm fortunate that I was able to plug in my modem/router, all my TV and home theater equipment, Xbox and even a lamp into this unit. It has 8 plugs and I used one to plug in a surge protector that I have phone, computer and tablet chargers, and a security camera plugged in. The unit itself also has spots on the front for a USC and B to be directly plugged in. It works seamlessly when the power goes off and I don't lose internet, Wi-Fi or TV for up to 2 hours and with the lamp plugged in, I can have a little light. I haven't had a long outage to test the battery life, but the available time is on the LCD display on the unit, which by the way, is great. It shows the battery life and current load. You can scroll through by clicking the display button and see the estimated run time, watts, Hz, and current load. Want to reduce load and extend the battery, unplug some thing and get to where you want. The info is right there. I'm very happy with this and would recommend it to anyone.

The CyberPower battery backup system is a great addition for anyone who wants that added protection to their electronics and the ability to have enough back up power to quickly save the files you were working on during a power outage. As advertised, the battery back up time was right around thirteen minutes (12:56 exactly) under half load, and two minutes under a full load. This model has ten total surge protected outlets however, only five of them are battery backup outlets. On the battery backup I have my computer and display screen, modem and a dedicated backup SSD. The added feature of a display screen on the CyberPower is a nice touch. This allows you to see your incoming power from your wall outlet and it has a wide variety of display settings as well. Should a power outage occur you will receive an audible noise from the unit alerting you that it has switched to Battery Backup power. the added two USB charging ports on the front are a great addition as well, a USB-C port and a USB-A, can offer you the added security of a quick charge to your mobile phone in the event that you need to contact first responders.

The CyberPower LX1500GU3 is a great beefy backup power supply but still maintains a slim profile. This thing weights quite a bit meaning the battery is beefy. The quotes specs of 221 minutes are impressive. The build quality is also top notch. There are two rows of outlets, one row that is just a surge protector and the other row is surge and battery backup. We lost power a few times this month and I have the router and cable modem. Internet stayed up throughout the storm power outage. The included screen is small and very informative and non obtrusive. This backup battery definitely makes the single available outlet useful to connect a ton of devices. The instructions that come with it are very informative and useful. Upon receiving the battery backup you need to plug it in for at least 8 hours to charge the battery to it's fullest before actually turning it on. After that it is just plug in and go. If you need a battery backup, this would be a very impressive purchase for home theater or critical computing resources.

I've run the CyberPower LX1500GU3 Battery Backup UPS system for about 8 days now. I live in a neighborhood where we have power failures often. Most times it's a thunderstorm, but sometimes not. I also live in an older home where some of our wiring hasn't been updated yet as in my sewing room. My sewing room consists of three sewing machines, a laptop computer, a television, wi-fi extender, and a projector. Then I have multiple lamps for extra lighting. The CyberPower Backup is perfect for my sewing room. Now I don't have to worry about losing data on my laptop, because the CyberPower battery kicks in so that I can shut down properly. Depending on what you have connected, the Battery back-up can last up to 221 minutes! With everything that I have running, I got about 45 minutes with everything plugged in and running. I also love the USB USB- C port on the front of the battery which l can then charge my phone when the power is out. The LDC screen displays information on the UPS battery and power conditions.

A must have for a high performance gaming pc.

I had a smaller CyberPower battery back up device for my gaming pc that worked just fine, until I bought a new gaming pc that uses a lot more power. I plugged my new gaming pc into the old battery backup, and as soon as I logged into one of my games, the power from the graphics card would trip the battery backup, shutting it down. I went to Best Buy and seen this one, so I bought it and brought it home and set it up. This one handles the power demand just fine and I am able to use my gaming pc as it was intended.

Ill start by saying Ive always had one of these battery back ups for my mid range to high end gaming p.c. setups over the years. Ive owned a few different brands of ups battery backup systems over my years, all of which have been the larger tower versions to poser my gaming p.c., monitor, speakers and sub combo, as well as my modem and wifi router should a storm strike and knock out the power. I like theseas they give you enough time to power down your setup without causing any harm should you be gaming during bad weather. This Cyberpower is very heavy duty and high tech imo, I like the colorful lcd display showing the power coming in and being used, as well as the batteries charge status etc... this has enough power to run my alienware gaming setup with a latest gen intel i9 and nvidia 3080, plus a 27" 4k monitor and peripherals without issue. I run my pc and monitor, modem and router on sure and battery backup, while my speakers and printer is on surge protection outlets only. The front not only has the lcd display but a usb a and usb c input for charging your compatible devices, which I wont use, but its nice for those that will. I have mo doubt this cyberpower ups will lrotect my gear from power outages, as I have used theyre gear before and never experienced a issue with any of it. These just work as intended and for many years of use.

I’ve never owned an UPS before, but I am impressed with the CyberPower LX1500GU3. 10 power plugs on the back; 5 for surge protection and 5 for surge protection/charging. Also on the backside are to plugs for ethernet and for cable. On the front, there is an USB-A and an USB-C plug on the front. I have tested the UPS on my game system with my laptop plugged in. Even with the UPS fully charged, the readout stated I had about 3 hours of power. The UPS will beep when it’s not plugged in, but you can turn the sound off pretty easily by reading the instruction booklet. Beyond myself testing the UPS unplugged, I haven't had a chance to test it during a real power outage, but based on what I've seen, I'm happy to have it. If there's a power outage that occurs for several hours, this can be used to keep your cell phone charged up. There is also an app you can download to control the settings. This makes it even easier to manage if you don't feel like pressing the buttons on the front of UPS. If you've been thinking of making an UPS purchase, purchase this one.

Got this CyberPower LX1500GU3 to replace an older basic-brick UPS from another brand. This CyberPower device is very nice. Plenty of connections, vertical footprint which works better for me that a lay-flat, and I like the display on the front. Only did a brief test with this so far (actual power hasn't gone out in my neighborhood yet for a "real" long-run test), but had no issue for 20 minutes keeping my cable modem, router, TiVo, and network switch running. In my opinion, these type of devices are a must for both surge protection as well as the battery backup for any key tech connections that you want to keep your household running in the event of a power outage. Definitely recommend.
