I was replacing a smaller unit that i had a few years ... this brand has outlet openings for all size plugs so you can get your printer and fax or any full size plugs next to each other where most other brands are so close that not all plugs will work on the same unit.

So far, so good. Hopefully, I will never experience a power surge to find out how good this product works.

I purchased this model when I needed to replace my battery back-up made by another top named company because I needed a back-up that would handle plug-in transformers placed side-by-side. The other brand would not do that . We experienced a power failure for about 3 hours earlier today and the back-up worked perfectly.

Works as advertised. Two minutes to set up. Had a power outage and this device kept me running until power returned. I mainly wanted backup to power my wifi network during an outage and it worked perfectly. I love this product.

    DON'T BUY THIS

So I purchased this after a power surge broke the power supply on my last computer. Today I plugged in an small Ac along with my computer. After about 20 minutes everything shut off WITHOUT WARNING and began beeping obnoxiously. I removed the Ac from the power suppy and once again after about 5 minutes it dropped my computer again. I realize that I must have had been using too much power but that's not the point. The point is that it shut off without warning and that a standard outlet could have handled this no problem. I looked it up and the site claims that if this happens to make sure your computer is in the battery and surge section of the strip...... it was. So now I have a corrupt hard drive . It's almost like I paid to break my own hardware. Spend you're money elsewhere and on a different companies product.

We had a power outage and the system workded as promised. I was able to shut down without lost of data or damage to my equiptment. The physical size of the unit made it a little cumbersome, but it performed to spec.

This is a battery back up surge protector and it performs as promised. The price for the battery size beat the APC, and I can tell no difference between the brands so far.

This is my 3rd purchase of one of these. I was previously convinced that Isotel was the way to go but have been disappointed recently in those products so I have turned to these. All 3 I have purchased so far are still operating perfectly and I am very happy with the value of these units!

Its very disappointing to have a unit fail for its sole purpose. Had 2 modems (sonic Wall and AT&T) hooked up, in a restaurant to ensure connectivity to the internet. power went out the unit started to beep and kept the equipment on for about 3 seconds, now the UPS portion wont even turn on. called for warranty repair, they said i have to pay for the shipping and will have the unit back within 4 weeks. will most likely buy a new unit and put this one back in the box and return it to the store.

You need to protect your server from power spikes, brownouts, and the other issues that can freak out the server and cause data loss. This is cheap insurance to protect your business data.

This was an upgrade replacement for a prior UPS that died. I really like the feature that allows you to monitor the power level on your PC desktop. It was worth the few extra dollars to get more backup time and the PC monitor feature.

    Not Quite As Advertised Here

This product does NOT offer "Cable Line Protection" as described in the Features list. Nor does it offer Network Cable Protection. The only protection other than the power itself is for a single telephone line. I had bought it based on the ability to protect my equipment from surges on my incoming cable line, but that's clearly not the case. But it does seem to perform OK as a UPS.

    Unreliable

I bought four of these to protect my HDTVs. After operating for around 3 months, one of units starting smoking with an acrid electrical smell. Needless to say, it stopped working. I opened it up and found a wire melted to the heat sink of one of the switching transistors. The wire must have been touching when the heat sink got hot, which melted the insulation and created a short. Another thing I learned when I opened it up was that the battery is only a 5.5 AH unit, which is way undersized compared to the 12 AH ones found in an APC UPS of comparable rating. This translates into less backup time before it runs down (assuming it doesn't catch on fire first). BTW, you need a special torx security screwdriver to open the battery compartment. At around nine months, one of the other units starting emitting a constant tone for no apparent reason. The tone indicates that shut down is imminent, which it does after about one minute. This could just mean that the battery is no longer charging and is worn out, but that shouldn't happen after so short a time. Anyway, I discarded the thing and replaced it with an APC unit. Since the case does not have room to install a larger replacement battery, I decided not to waste money on an undersized one. I have UPS units on every PC and high value electronic device I own. Needless to say, my next replacement UPS will not be from CyberPower.

    Bought 2. One is DOA

Was looking for a cheap one for power spikes to keep computer running without reboot. Sometimes I have spikes of power outage for a 5-10 seconds, which forcing my computers to reboot. I am running a File Server with 2 RAID-5 arrays and do not want it to go offline in case like this and force RAID to start rebuild process, which takes days for 30 TB array. So I though I will have a nice cheap battery protector, which will gracefully shut down my server. So I.... Bought 2 of them at the same time. One started fine and was recognized by PC via USB and battery was full. All ports worked. Second one is the other story. Surge protection ports worked, but battery ports were dead. Tried to reset, unplug for 10 seconds, reset, nothing. Dead. Will exchange it to another one hoping it will work.
