Upon plugging in my receiver it immediatly blew.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Upon plugging in my $900 receiver, it blew out. It appears to have been a power surge through the system and the HDMI cords to my DVD player. After 45 minutes of discussion with the company they finally agreed to replace the unit but failed to email the paperwork that was to be returned with unit within 5 days. The return shipping address that arrived with the new unit was different that the one that finally arrived with the paperwork. The unit was already shipped. I had purchased a second unit at the same time for my projector that seems to work fine. I was told that the unit had been sitting on the shelf too long and the internal battery had gone bad. This is a big mess and I also had to pay to return the bad unit. They should be replacing my receiver and DVD player. We will see........

Inexpensive way to protect expensive electronics
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought two of these to protect our network of home computers (3 desktops, 2 printers, router, etc.). They are easy to set up and have a connection with a computer so you can monitor the unit's performance. We have had several brief power interruptions since I bought them and I could relax knowing the equipment would be protected from surges as well as my data from loss. The one thing that would make it better is to have wider spaces for the ups connections. Many devices have large plugs and it is difficult to get everything plugged in.

Great UPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a Dell computer with a power supply that is looking for a pure sine wave or close to it and no more than 4ms transfer time. I tried 3 other UPS units and never could get them to keep my computer up when doing a unplug test. This unit has no problem at all with the self test or unplug test. I tried each of them 3 times without a flicker. I have the computer, 23 inch monitor, modem, wireless router, 1TB backup unit and a HP8250 printer on the battery side and they stayed up for 8 minutes after the plug was pulled. More than enough time to get everything saved and shut down. That is great for a unit in this price range.

Execellent APC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is my first back-up power supply and it is terrific. I have had several of the surge protectors and power strip but they were only good for that purpose. The item is good for surge protection and lightning protection as well as for power failure. Great product! I just yesterday bought another one for my television beacuse it has the capability to hookup the TV cable and telephone too!!

Excellent product for the value!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great unit which I felt comfortable getting for my home office. I like the green features as well as the amount of time you have to use your computer prior to shutting down if you lose power. (55 minutes) There are so many options in these battery backup surge protectors I guess it just depends on what your needs are.

Our Plasma TV/Xbox/Router Protector
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This unit was purchased after a power surge killed our original plasma TV, Xbox, cable modem and router. Yes.. all of those things died at the same time! Its a clear example how the spike travels thru all the cords. Now.. all of those items flow thru the Cyberpower backup. I have already seen it in action. The power spiked again and shut off. The batter back up kicked in and nothing shut off. Perfect! Our Xbox lost its live connection but that was it. Items connected to the unit: 43" plasma Tv Xbox 360 Cable Modem / Cable routed thru unit as well Wireless Router If you want to protect all of your stuff this is the unit to do it.

Awesome UPS
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this UPS about 6 weeks ago for my power hog gaming pc. I haven't had any problems out of it. It seriously totes the mail w/a 600 watt power supplied pc w/a nVidia GTX 560, 24" Samsung LED monitor, and Logitech 5.1 surround sound system all plugged into it. I highly recommend!

Glad we bought it
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this unit to ptotect te LED TV we bought. When the AC power goes out unexpectedly, the UPS will beep, but it keeps the TV going with plenty time to shut it down corrctly, and helps protect the TV.

Good value vs APC products...
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this after my APC UPS XS1000 died on me after 48 hours worth of use. It doesn't have the fancy LED display like the APC model, but it's $40 cheaper and has enough runtime to cover an outage so I can run my router/modem, and shuts down my monitor and Mac once it reaches a certain percentage of battery life left. APC's quality has declined in the past few years and I plan to look at a CyberPower tower when it's time to replace one of my studio's UPS'.

Nice product for the money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I do computer support and bought this product for a customer of mine. For the price, and features, it looked like a good value. So far it seems to be performing well for the customer and he now wants another. Doubt if the unit has been adequately put to the test yet, so I rated the reliability and protection down a bit. I'll update my review if the unit doesn't do it's job when it's needed, but looks OK for now.

Exactly as advertised
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works exactly as advertised. Great product, lots of plug ins, although many of them are for surge protection only - not battery backup.

It works when the electricity blinks.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is small enough to hide from view. The electricity has blinked a couple times since it was installed. So it does the job I got it for.

The price is right.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my second one. The first one took a direct hit from lightning. This one comes with a lifetime guarantee for it and all protected equipment. It has not been tested by lightning yet. Battery back up feature works well.

GOOD UNIT
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I BOUGHT MINE ON I/17/2007... IT ALWAYS WORKED FINE,, UNTIL ABOUT TWO WEEKS AGO... I SAW A THING IN THE TOOLS, FOR A SELF TEST... I SHOULD NOT HAVE RUN IT... I SHOULD HAVE JUST UNPLUGGED THE UNIT, FROM THE AC, TO TEST IT... I'VE DONE THAT BEFORE, WITH NO PROBLEM... ANY WAY,, IT IS NOW 2/28/2011... SO IT LASTED FOUR YEAR'S... OH WELL,, LIVE AND LEARN.

Plenty of Reserve Power
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this power supply to replace one that was to small for my desktop, this one has lots of back up and has worked flawlessly through power outages. The CyberPower it replaced runs my security cameras fine. Good product at a good price !
