Not built with correct power supply

The graphic card went out within the year and was it’s because they didn’t put the correct power supply in the PC. The manufacturer of the video card recommended a 550watt PSU and at minimum 500watt. They built the PC with a EVGA 450watt PSU. When I brought this to there technical support’s attention they told me the manufacturer puts those REQUIREMENTS for extreme situations. This is supposed to be a gaming computer. It should be able to run to the manufacturer specifications. I’m very disappointed in the purchase. Not built to be reliable. I’ve read others have had issues with the video card as well. Now I know why.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our PCs are built to the specifications required in order to run efficiently. Those requirements are put up on the manufacturers website for extreme situations such as overclocking. If you check the actual TDP of your PC under load, you should see that a 450 watt power supply is more than enough. If you haven't already please feel free to contact our tech support team for further assistance on this matter as our PCs do come with a 1 year parts and labor warranty.

Awful

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.So the computer was set up by Best Buy thankfully because I was called by Geek squad and told the game card was no good and they can’t repair so they were giving me a new one. Then the second one they set up, I brought it Home and have it to my child for their birthday. My child played on it for 2 hours (literally) and then we got what I found out is called the screen of death. I brought It back and was later told by Geek Squad the hard drive was t any good. Geek squad was great through all of this, BUT Best Buy has a 15 day policy which I was in the last day of thankfully with the second computer. So I exchanged for an upgraded computer. Point is this particular model was junk. Don’t waste money on or if you do then make sure you utilize it often during the 15 day period or you’d be stuck.
