This Cyber Power failed to operate properly.

This is the second computer purchased at Best Buy that did not operate properly and was returned. All data and MS Flight Simulator 2004 was loaded as requested. The SS processor hard drive was found during setup to be cracked and was replaced. The Flight Simulator 2004 did not operate but this was understood as a possibility and is accepted but GOOGLE CHROME also failed to operate and after 2 days at Geek Squad remained non operational. Computer was returned as suggested by Geek Squad. I will try again to purchase another computer and request not to download any old data from the previous hard drive or MS Flight Simulator 2004 as these was mentioned as a possible source issues.

I really wish there was a disc drive, we had to purchase an external one in addition. I might be out of touch, but I just assumed it would and I did mention to the sales man that my daughter would be playing sims 3 on it.

When I bought this computer, I was so happy to finally have a gaming computer (was without one for about 8 years). Well its about 2 months later and I have such buyers remorse. I wish I would have waited to get a computer because now you can get a Ryzen 7, 16GB, RX 580 8GB, 2TB, 240 GB SSD for cheaper then what I got this computer for. Do not get this computer. There are better computers for cheaper that will last longer.

My 10 year old purchased this with his own money and I have to say it’s not great. For whatever reason it continuously gives the boot error and I am required to get into the BIOS to enable the Windows boot drive. Very annoying that this happens on an extremely expensive machine. Sometimes the Windows boot drive doesn’t even show up and I have to turn it off, unplug everything, open the side to make sure the hard drive is seated properly and then turn back on and get into the BIOS and it’s there to enable. Reading other reviews this seems to be an issue for most which is ridiculous. This didn’t start happening until about two weeks after we got it so there was not a way to return it to Best Buy. This is probably an indication of worse issues to come so I would not recommend wasting money on this Gaming PC.

    Great starter gaming PC

I've been wanting a gaming PC for over a decade, but I never had the funds for one. After my 10 year old laptop died, fate forced my hand and I began doing lots of research, trying to find a PC with decent parts for under $900. Many I found had some good parts, but lacked in other areas. I always wound up browsing through various CyberPowerPC systems, since they offered budget-friendly options. That's when I stumbled upon this gem. The first thing that drew my interest was the fact that it has a 240GB SSD on top of a 2TB HDD. I was also happy that it came with 8GB of RAM. These 3 components alone often significantly raised the costs of a custom built PC. The fact that they all came in a PC that's less than $900 was wonderful. Mine also includes a Wi-Fi card and Bluetooth, which is very nice (I don't remember if the original description mentioned it). I have always only ever had Intel+NVIDIA in the past, so I was a little unsure about AMD for the CPU and GPU. I did more research to ease my worries, finding that AMD has made a lot of progress since I first began eyeing a gaming PC those many years ago. I've had this PC for a couple of weeks now and I am beyond happy with it. Not only is the RGB lighting/fans beautiful (with cool presets), but it runs like a dream. It's so quiet I don't even notice it's on. Even when running games it's super quiet. It starts up in a fraction of the time of my old laptop thanks to the SSD. I don't have a lot of highly demanding games at the moment, but the games I do play run smoothly on high and ultra settings. This PC can also be upgraded, which is a great feature. I plan on adding at least one extra fan and possibly add another HDD. But for now, I couldn't be happier with this PC. I definitely recommend it to anyone needing a budget friendly PC. If you can catch this on sale, it's even more of a deal.

For the very brief amount of time that it would boot it was super fast. Bought this for music production, but after 2 days of using it to get all my production software installed so I could start recording music again the darn thing quit booting up. I never even got to start a recording session. I had began working in the oilfield at the time which was very new to me, so when this happened I didn’t even try to get it replaced because I was really focusing on learning a new and exciting job and it was more important to me to focus on not losing my life or my new career. I hope I still have options to either have this replaced or at least fixed by geek squad because purchasing a new computer that breaks down after a couple of days is just unacceptable and I’m kicking myself for not bringing the darn thing back immediately. Disappointed for sure.

Purchased this a few days ago. Got it delivered yesterday(11/28/2018) and experienced a random shut down, wouldn't come back on for a few minutes, then another one. Then while booting I moved the mouse and it shut down again. Called BB to explain what happened and ask for a refund. While on phone I decided to reset the pc for return. It shut off and when it finally came back and I tried again it refused to restart due to an error. Yeah.... Do not buy Cyberpower. I hear their customer service is horrible too and didn't want to deal with this.

    I Really Love This PC

    Posted .

This is my first PC since I've always been a console gamer. For the price, it runs better than expected. The keyboard and mouse that come with it are pretty standard, but they work fine for standard gaming. Frame rates are reasonably consistent and can run higher settings without an issue. I haven't tested anything truly taxing though, so graphics will likely need to be run on slightly lower settings depending on the game. The LEDs on the tower are fun, too. My only complaint is that it can be a little slow to open programs and files (such as the Microsoft Store or Discord). This PC is easily upgradable and has lots of space for customization. I've already added some flashy sticks of RAM and the glass cover makes it look super cool. Even my computer geek boyfriend was impressed by it. the packaging is secure, but there were stickers on the side of the tower that were a pain to get off. They left sticky residue on the back of the PC and all over the dust shield.

Look it’s pricey for a a not so great model. Don’t get me wrong plays games well, but I’m just so disappointed it’s hard to come back from it. I ordered this for my boyfriend for Christmas I picked it up, and it didn’t work. So, he had to return it and it came 8 days later, so I’m steady upset that the computer comes broken. Now the fan is SO LOUD! It’s so frustrating because the workers said it wouldn’t be loud at all! Overall I’m not happy about this computer but my boyfriend says it’s good for now, but I want good for a long time!!!!
