Good if you are replacing a console
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this because I didn’t think I could build a PC. I ended up returning it because of its performance being much lower than a PC you could build for the same price

Junk Pc
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The thing didn’t even last a full year before it stopped working and the company that makes it is terrible to work with. They didn’t even use the right parts when they replaced it and forced me to pay for shipping all three times I had to send it out to California to have it repaired. By the time I sold it off all of the parts in it had been replaced at least once. Would NOT buy a CyberPower Pc again.

Surprisingly solid
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I normally build my own computers, but for various reasons was looking to buy a preconfigured system. I have stuck with Intel and NVidia for at least a decade, maybe a decade and a half. But, being on a budget, I started looking at the comparisons between the Ryzen 5 and i5 processors and the GTX 1060 and RX580s. What I saw convinced me to give this box a try (though I did catch it on sale, and might consider the Intel/Nvidia alternative depending on pricing). I have been very happy with this box over the past few weeks. I have zero complaints, which is very unusual. Well, maybe one, in that there's no optical drive, and no slots in the case to install one. But I don't really think that's going to be an issue these days. Boot to desktop is about 30 seconds, thanks to the SSD. Graphics are crisp and sharp. Even the included keyboard is surprisingly awesome. The mouse is a bit larger than I would buy on my own, but I'm getting used to it. The box runs quietly, and the lights aren't overpowering. I haven't really played with them much. Though my daughter saw it and said how she liked the "rainbows." Highly recommend this box for home office or any gamers on a budget.

No Operating System!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased the cyberpower pc that says "Ultimate Gaming System, Play Ready" for my fiancé. get it home and out of the box, set it all up just to turn it on and find the PC has no operating system! says windows is supposed to be pre-installed. On top of all of that, there is no windows disk or flash drive included in the packaging. Not cool cyberpower.

Desktop arrived with a bad Operating system
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Once the system arrived I went through the startup and proceeded to load my programs. After a bit the computer did not respond to mouse movements or clicks in the control program. I called Cyberpower and after their review, they said the new computer needed to be brought in for service! A brand new computer.

3 rd Computer
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have gone through three of these within 90. Each time a very time consuming process, so far the third one seems to be working. Best Buy was terrible through the process, the only thing that saved me is they did the installation. Great starter computer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have had this computer for a couple of days and I am thoroughly enjoying it so far. The case looks amazing and a bonus is the awesome RGB mouse that came with it and a keyboard (Not RGB) the keyboard is a bit to bulky for my liking's, but it has media buttons on the side and red colored gaming key caps over WASD and the arrow keys. I haven't been able to test any games except for Fortnite since of how quick the download was. When I loaded it up I let it auto choose my settings and it maxed out all my setting except for frame rate in which it kept that at 60FPS I loaded up a match and switched the FPS to 120 and it was averaging at around 60 with a high of 67. One thing i would like top mention though is that I am using a 2560 X 1080P ultra wide monitor while doing this test and the game wasn't stuttering at all, but I would recommend you turn off motion blur. All in all with the one game I have tried it went pretty well but the reason why it is a 4 star is how loud the computer got. I can hear the fans on the computer in my silent room and without headphones on without doing anything and when playing a game it gets a lot louder to the point where you could more than likely hear it through headphones. Upgrades are possible with this mother board so I would recommend if your upgrading upgrade the power supply if you can somehow reach it, upgrade the ram to 16 gigs instead of 8 and add more fans for a more quiet setup.

Good system but a few annoyances
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Picked this up yesterday. The specs are great and it has plenty of room to upgrade but there are a few annoyances that prevent a 4 or 5 star rating. The pros: The hard drives have plenty of space. Most PCs this price with an SSD drive are about 128GB. This is 240. It's also nice to have a 2TB regular drive. 8GB of RAM is pretty much standard nowadays but the motherboard is upgradeable to 64GB. First thing I did was order an additional 8GB stick so I could run 16 GB in dual-channel. The Ryzen 5 processor is excellent. The board will also run a Ryzen 7 if you want to upgrade that. Setup was a breeze. Now the annoyances: It comes with a really cool looking "gaming mouse" with all kinds of buttons. Unfortunately, the additional buttons don't work and per Cyberpower's tech support, they are not programmable. They're basically just there for show. They have another model, the "Pro" model which is identical, but that one can be programmed. Not sure why they would include a gaming mouse with all of the extra buttons but make those buttons useless. The keyboard is similar. It has several buttons on the side that that are pre-programmed and can't be changed. At least the extra buttons on the keyboard actually do something, unlike the ones on the mouse. Basically, the keyboard and mouse are just for show and despite appearances are very basic in functionality. The lights on the keyboard and mouse. The keyboard has a Cyberpower logo on the top and the Cyberpower name on the palm rest. The logo and name light up and the lights can't be turned off. Same with the mouse. It has lights which change color on their own and cannot be turned off. If you have your PC in the same room where you sleep and don't turn it off, you'll have to cover the mouse and keyboard otherwise they'll light up a pretty dark room. The motherboard utilities only see one of the two system fans even though both are installed and actively spinning. One of the system fans has RGB lights and the case has two thin RGB light strips on the front. I downloaded the Mystic Lights software from MSI (the motherboard is an MSI) but it won't work to control the lights. Fortunately, there is a way to control those lights. On the top of the tower there are two small buttons, one labeled "M", and the other labeled with a small circle next to it. These two buttons let you control the lights. Unfortunately I didn't find this mentioned anywhere in the documentation that came with the PC. When I called Cyberpower to go over all of these annoyances, the rep didn't even know the lights could be controlled that way. Initially he told me that I was pretty much out of luck and they couldn't be turned off or changed in any way. Although there is plenty of room inside the case, they don't include any hardware to mount an additional hard drive. The power supply is under-spec. Per AMD's specs, the Radeon 580 video card requires a minimum 500 watt power supply. This comes with a 450 watt one. If you don't run too many power-intensive applications it should be fine but for hardcore gaming, video processing, etc... I expect you'll run into some problems. Other than these annoyances, it seems to be working fine so far but I'm only 24 hours into it. Bottom line, the functionality is great with the exceptions of one of the system fans not being recognized by the motherboard, the "gaming" mouse and keyboard being useless and only for show, and the RGB lights on the fan and case not working like they're supposed to with the MSI Mystic Lights software, and Cyberpowerpc not including documentation of how to actually control them. Cyberpower's tech support, while friendly, wasn't very helpful. From what I understood, these annoyances are essentially by design and there's nothing that can be done about them. If those things aren't a big deal to you, it's a great system. If you'd find those things to be too annoying, I'd look elsewhere. Personally I can live without the extra keyboard and mouse buttons and will not be using the included keyboard and mouse. I'll keep using my old Dell keyboard and mouse which work just fine.

Read the whole thing
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this PC a week before Christmas 2018. Its currently April 2019 now. To start off, I was going to build a PC I never built a PC before in my life but I thought if I watched a video it would be easy. So i just took another look on best buy. Anyways i originally bought an ibuypower in November 2018. I took it back a week later. Are you ready for this one it had used parts on it when it was supposed to be brand new. I will never in my whole life buy from I buypower again. So anyways, I picked up this cyberpower. If i was going to build it it would be around 750, but that's not including the mouse and keyboard it comes with. I thought I would pay the extra and grab it. It was a good choice so far. I love it it runs all the games I play, which is bo4, mw2, fortnite, and apex. I love it. I get good fps, and the PC has no problems so far. A lot of people talk about the motherboard and power supply, they say there bad. I know a good bit about computers and there good trust me. Think of it this way do you think a big company like cyberpower would rein there name. They would never do that cyberpower is a good brand I would stick with it for prebuilt PC's. It looks nice with the LEDs this is a great PC.

All-around fantastic, some non-fatal nitpicky flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received this computer as a gift and use it exclusively for gaming, as many of you likely are considering doing. It cost $650 instead of the advertised $880 due to a Black Friday sale, which was great for the gifter :) Lights on the PC look very nice, are adjustable to your liking (three different soon patterns and several different colors including a full rainbow) and I really like the clear side panel. PC worked straight out of the box with no issues. HDMI'd it up to a small TV we had lying around while awaiting my gaming monitor, that worked fine. Tested both WiFi and Ethernet- both worked without issue. Windows setup was easy and fast. I primarily use this PC for playing Fortnite and this is a beast when it comes to doing that. On full Low (1080p) settings, this PC averages above 250 fps. On full Ultra (&1080p) settings, it maintains 80-90. That's insane for just shy of $1000 for all of my setup. Apologies to the diehard PC reviewers out there, I didn't do any CPU/GPU temping or anything crazy like that. The peripherals, while not great, are alright, especially considering the price. Anyone who took more than a passing glance at the provided images would see all of the pretty buttons on the top and left sides of the keyboard and on the side of the mouse. I can't say too much about them other than that they work fine- I much prefer my other peripherals, but rest assured, these also work straight out of the box if you need them to (i.e. don't have any). All the good stuff aside, there's a couple of small things I'd like to at least point out. - The power supply is insufficient by a small margin, as a couple other reviews I saw had said. Upgrade that if you want/can afford to, but I haven't and there's really no problem unless you're doing some insanely complicated/heavy-load stuff. -RAM is 1x8gb instead of 2x4 like I and many others would prefer but it's no big issue. All in all. (TLDR) Fantastic mid-grade computer for the price, will likely hit or exceed 1080p/144hz on low/mid graphics. Included peripherals are OK.

Powerful for a beginner
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's a great computer, very smooth and fast, I bought it for gaming and it hasn't give me any problems with any game, I play rainbow six siege and it runs perfect. so in terms of gaming this computer does the work very good. Now, I had a problem with connecting to wifi because the signal was too poor, have to mention that my modem is one room away, so I don't see the problem, I had to buy a Usb wifi adapter, but away from that, everything is great. I love that they included a keyboard and mouse, I saved some money on that, so thanks. If you're looking for a great gaming experience and you don't want to build a computer, this is your best buy.
