BOAT ANCHOR! DO NOT BUY!

I first had model GMA4200BST and now model GMA5200BST. I bought the current PC on Oct. 15th after the first one took a huge dump. First it was I couldn't make a recovery drive, and then the GPU died. Purchased an upgrade GPU and within a week it crapped the bed too. Finally Best Buy junked the system and refunded my money so I could purchase the current PC. The mother board and GPU were better quality components (according to reviews) and in 7 days it is crashing, video card issues again, and just overall bad performance. Windows uses the GPU to run some apps and they just won't open unless I perform a restart. I can honestly say this computer is not even good enough to use as a boat anchor!

Would be great, but has one major issue

Mine however came with a faulty RX 580 graphics card, that crashes my screen and loads red boxes whenever I attempt to launch certain programs. I'm going to try and get a new one, but I have no clue where to start or who to contact. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR PARTS, BECAUSE THEY MAY COME DAMAGED. If it isn't the card, then I have no clue where to go.

Poor Quality

Very Poor packaging. Further inspection I found fan pins on the inside bent and almost unusable. If it wasn't for the scarcity of the PC's/video cards I would have returned it.

Gaming computer

Red Diamond Screen Issue Makes it Troublesome

But, while playing a game one day, a red diamond screen covered the entire monitor like a filter. Then, the entire computer crashed. At first, i thought the fans were not going fast enough and the graphics card was overheating. I adjusted the fan speeds and things were working better. A month later, I'm playing another game and it happens again but the temperatures are fine on the pc. I'm pretty bummed, because I believe this would otherwise be a great computer. It's just not reliable in terms of playing games or streaming. I don't know if it is the computer itself or a design flaw within one of the parts.

Great until it Died after several days

Then, a blue screen crash while I was already trying to restart. After that, the PC would turn on, you could see the lights and all, but refused to connect to any peripheral. No monitor or keyboard. Constant reboots did nothing. Unplugging was the only way to turn off the power since the power button couldn't turn it off Left the PC on whole night hoping the keyboard would flash on. Just in case it was taking care of that crash and checking the drive in the background. Nothing. Next day, unplugged it and turned it on. Even worse now. Darkness. Dead! Kaput!

Bad service

When I try to bring it to Best Buy at concord mill location NC to find out what is going on. But nobody tell the reason, then when I try to return by last day , have 3 look like personal people come to check the PC , then told me miss one part, cannot return. I can’t believe what they said. I bought the has Quality problem PC at your store, you didn’t say any sorry, and told me can’t return. I talk to the customer service lady about what I think, finally they return to me. But I very dissatisfied with their service.

Returned PC!!

This brand is sus.. I won't buy again

Did everything it said to do to hook up PC. My son opened it on Christmas and played it for about 12 days. We turned it off and unplugged the PC to move it. When we plugged it back in we couldn't get it to come back on. Worked with tech support from CyberPowerPC and they suggested we take it back to Best Buy. Sadly they had no more so we had to get a more expensive one. That one lasted 2 days. I think it is the brand.

faulty gpu or mobo

Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.prebuilt pc came in and i plugged everything up the right way, and no display connection. i tried making sure that the gpu was getting enough power, tried different hdmi cable, different monitor, tried removing gpu from motherboard and then putting it back in, tried disconnecting power from gpu and plugging it back in, nothing worked, i can only assume it’s a faulty gpu or motherboard and i don’t want to mess with it anymore. i tried plugging it into both motherboard and gpu and nothing happened. try plugging in the usb key that came with it and nothing happened

Circuit failure a day after using

Stupid things shouldn’t happen

Broke in less than a year and warranty is trash.

Started shutting down randomly about 3 months ago, and now just completely won’t turn on anymore. Apparently (according to a Google search), it’s a common problem with this computer. I called the manufacturer to see about a warranty. They said it’s under warranty, but I have to pay for the shipping to get it to them, which is going to run me more than $100. So I have to pay for them to fix a product that is defective… it’s disappointing.

I bought this as my first gaming pc and it worked for 1 day before I got a BSOD. This is unacceptable. There is something wrong with this hardware when running windows 10. This is a garbage build and shame on this manufacturer for trying to sell this junk. I always hear how PC is the master race but atleast you don't have to worry about issues on day 1 with console. These are garbage computers do not buy them. Everyone working in the Quality Control department needs fired.

Has connectivity issues

I tried other cables, another monitor, didnt matter. It was the computer. Called Best Buy, they were great about exchanging it but guess what... The next one did the very same thing!!! Ugh. After spending an hour every day trying to get the computer to work with the monitor, Im sending this one back too. Does work great when it does work.

Poor Quality Control

The shipping box was in good condition, but the computer case was crushed on one corner and the ports were all falling out of the back of the computer. The lack of or the ineffectiveness of the quality control that didn't notice these obvious defects on the outside of the machine made me question the overall quality of the company. I didn't even power on the computer because I had no trust for their product. I returned this item and bought a computer from another manufacturer.

Bummer of a Christmas gift

Do not buy this computer. After 4 months, the computer stopped working. No lights, blue screen of death. Geek Squad wouldn’t touch it because it’s under the warranty. It’s under warranty but cost $600 to ship back to the manufacturer. A total lemon. I wish I would have read more reviews before my purchase.
