best pc i’ve ever gotten over my life line. great for gaming!

More than enough for my gaming son and was a decent price

I'm pleased with the computer. However, I'm giving 3 stars because of Best Buy's shady business practices. I saw a small handful of reviews saying that the parts in the computer were not the parts advertised (lower graphics card, refurbished parts, missing components, etc). And I have figured out why some people may have walked off with a lesser computer without knowing. I decided to view the computer in store. I walk in and see this model. Same tower, same model number on the display tag, great. Boxes of an identical computer are underneath the display model. I consider just grabbing a box because I know it's what I want; however, I decide to pick the brain of a nearby Best Buy employee. We chat about computers for a couple minutes and I confirm my choice to buy this one. The employee starts to pick up the box for me, but stops. They look at the sticker on the box, hesitate, and inform me the computer in the box is a different model number (model number ending in a v6 rather than a v10) than the one on sale. The computer I was about to grab was regularly priced at $850, rather than the $1,150 computer that was on sale for $850. Simply put, I was about to buy a computer for the exact same price with lesser components without knowing it. The computer I actually wanted was up on the tall shelves that they had to get a ladder for. Same tower, same box, but two digits different in the model number. When I got home, I verified I had all the correct components. However, I almost purchased a completely different computer without knowing. Why would Best Buy put a cheaper but identical computer tower underneath their models? The sale price of this one was the same as the other regularly priced, so I would have been tricked at the register too. I'm disappointed in Best Buy for trying to trick consumers into getting less than what they think they're buying.

Great first PC option for those looking to buy one. It is fast, easy to use, and awesome GPU. My only caveat is the LEDs, there's no software to customize the RGB pattern/color - only a button on the top of the case to alternate between presets. If there's an option, let me know (I'm obviously a new to this lol). Overall, definitely worth the money.

Overall, this desktop is a good purchase that is definitely worth its price (even more worth it if you wait until it goes on sale). In terms of build quality, it was overall well done, but there were some minor problems such as how the screws were installed. However, these problems, even if left unchecked, wouldn't hinder the machine's performance.
