Good Fast Computer, could easily have been quieter
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought recently when the price dropped to $1,000. The 3700X/5700XT combination is very fast and more or less parallels the performance of the new Xbox/PS boxes. CPU: Fast, performs as expected. Naturally boots with the memory at 2666MHz, needed changing to 3000Hz in BIOS (hold down F2 on boot). Water cooling a 65W CPU is massive overkill. GPU: Having read a polemic on this in a one star review I investigated further. My Machine appears to have a XFX 5700XT DD. As set up it has an 5700XT GPU but is power limited to 180W - a 'real' 5700XT should go to 225W - the 5700 is 180W. Benching it, Passmark 3D score is 18,800 and Fire Strike is mid 8,000s, both of which are OK for this card. You could take a BIOS from a higher level card (the website has none for this card) and flash it in order to raise the allowed power. However the peak temperature is already 90C and power is a cube relationship on frequency and thus you would probably get a very hot card that is ~5% faster. For the price paid it is good enough. Disk: the WD Blue is a cheap NVME, but one of the best cheap ones. it's fast, so no problems here. Build: Tidy with neat cabling, one of the LED sockets came out on shipping (take the non glass case side off if this is a problem), worked fine when reconnected. The only real issue is fan noise. It's not that it's exactly noisy, it's that it's not really quiet either. The fans are set to run at full speed (they are plugged into the MOLEX plugs of the power supply). The motherboard (AsRock B550AM) has two variable speed fan drives on it that aren't being used (or may have one of the 4 fans on it). Would it have honestly have been that hard to fix them up during assembly? Now, to fix the issue, I will have to cut off and replace several cable ties, remove the water radiator, possibly unseat the GPU and put it all back together again. Not rocket science, but with a possibility that something will get damaged, unseated,... This is what cost it a star in the ratings.

Great value for a beautiful PC.
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Product was well packaged and looks beautiful. Booted up without problems and runs as expected. No regrets and great value considering the cost of the parts alone (especially during the pandemic).

very early review
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just got this pc about 3-4 days ago. So far it's been working great. However, when I received the pc it was only reading 1 out of the 2 ram memory. I've never had a pc before so I dint know what to do, I decided to try and fix the ram myself. Because of my inexperience both the ram sticks were placed wrong and caused my display to not work and it worried me thinking I messed it up. I was able to fix the issue being that I had not placed the ram in properly and then after I did it was reading the 16gb ram. Overall as of right now, I'm very happy with the product, ill update this in the future if I find anything.

If you plan to upgrade your monitor: Reconsider
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this CPU for awhile now so wanted to post a review. I only use it for Gaming and school work: Goods: It has played everything on ultra with above 60 fps. I upgraded from a 10 year old rig with a 1050 ti, HD drive, 8 gig ram, and a processor that's ranked like 160ish overall. This thing is very fast and does what I want it to do compared to my old one. Bads: It's cooling system is not very good. I would suggest installing additional fans and maybe upgrading the AIO cooler for the processor although not needed. The worst: While it does have a great GPU (Mine is asus 5700 xt tuf), it can run hot pretty quickly. I upgraded my monitor to a 32 inch curve 165hz 2k monitor. The machine struggles pretty hard with the GPU dying periodically if I don't remove the panel and stick a house fan in there which can be quite a problem long term. If you don't install additional cooling items or do those two items listed above, your display will quit rendering, the computer will shut down, or your pixels will be screwed up requiring a restart. The temperatures hit around 90 with those two aforementioned items above but if you don't do anything, and you're in a cold climate you can expect at the very least 98 degrees Fahrenheit. The machine runs well with adequate monitors or you choose between either running the 2k resolution or 120+ hertz otherwise you might struggle with high temperatures from the GPU.

Excellent for the Price, High Performance
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Like many others, this PC was my first jump from console to PC gaming. All in all, I'm really satisfied with this build, and will happily run with it for the next few years. BUT FIRST, you NEED to adjust the GPU frequency and voltage, or else this card runs very hot, and the case does not provide efficient airflow to manage the cards temperature. Before messing around with adding on fans or swapping around fan positioning, I suggest undervolting and underclocking in the Radeon Adrenaline software. These are the settings I run currently: 1900MHz (frequency) @ 1000mV (voltage) Fan curve: 25c - 35% 41c - 37% 57c - 47% 73c - 57% 83c - 66% My max temps with these settings are 72c at full load, at 2300 RPM. This PC no longer sounds like a jet engine when playing Borderlands 3. So it does a little tweaking out of the box, but trust me, it is well worth it, and you can even undervolt and underclock a bit more if needed to trade a small amount of performance for temp drops, but in my experience so far 1900MHz @ 1000mV is perfect for similar performance with lower temps and RPMs. Otherwise, this PC is awesome, and I hit between 120-144FPS easily for games like Apex Legends and Borderlands 3 at Ultra/High settings.

Affordable Gaming PC! Love it.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Runs all games including cod on settings high and ultra so it does the job. The only issue is the drivers for the Radeon RX 5700 XT Card for windows 10 have some issues with games you have to mess with some settings and I had to install a clean driver 2 times over to get it to finally stop crashing. It's a known issue with the card and windows 10 but this PC is a good build and well worth the money. Very happy other than the troubleshooting for the GPU working correctly with windows 10.

Very fast, solid system
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've worked in IT for about 20 years, and 10+ years ago transitioned my house to all Apple products. But, I've been wanting to get back into gaming and purchased this about a week and a half ago. The computer is beautiful, the build quality superb with excellent cable management and layout. Setup instructions are good enough for experienced computer folk, might be a bit light for a beginner on computers, but that's not really who these systems are marketed for. This computer is very fast, boots quick, and although I'm not running top end games handles multi-tasking and graphics are beautiful. If you're too lazy (like me) to build your own, can't go wrong with this system.

Some minor RGB issues that were fixed
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is very very good for the price. I speced out a similar custom build and it came out a little more expensive. Granted having control over what motherboard I use as well as RAM and PSU are a plus but not worth the price premium. Great upgradeability in the future. Keyboard that comes with the computer is slightly on the garbage side but the mouse is very nice to use. The RBG fan connector bridge was a little messed up and shook up so I had to readjust those cables. The fans were working, but not the RGBs The GPU was disconnected and on the bottom of the case upon arrival, underneath the foam. I have never seen that to be the case before, but everything works.

Wouldn't recommend to those who hate alot of noise
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything runs very beautifully on this pc only complaint I have is the obnoxious fan noise when I play more demanding games the fan rattles and becomes pretty loud if you are willing to replace the cheap fans the computer comes with I think this pc is worth it & if you really don't care for loud fan noise even better for you. I will say this could of just been the one I got but seeing as many other reviews also mention the loud fans don't underestimate how loud and it might get & hot especially if you play beefy games. (its making a little less noise after slightly nudging the back fan in the middle.)

(3700x + 5700XT + 1TB SSD), do the math yourself
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is probably the best pre-built PC for the buck.. 3700x + 5700XT + 1TB SSD After 2-3 years, you'll face PSU issues, just spend $100+ and get yourself a better PSU
