A great starter gaming PC

It takes hours (no exaggeration) to get through to costumer service, the computer runs terribly with many problems. They took it back under warranty and sent it back with a factory reset that didn't fix a single one of the problems, plus the casing was then damaged. USB ports stopped working, button to change the color gets stuck, doesn't register one of the fans working, gets the blue screen of death all the time, gets stuck in a reboot loop. If you luck out and get a working computer then I'm sure it's great. Mine was bought new, came with a very long list of issues, and they had it for over a month and didn't fix a a single issue. Looking into the company, they have a ton of BBB suites that they have lost. Don't waste your hard earned money on such a bad company. That being said, Best Buy is great and always tried to help as best as they could!

Troubles Upon First Startup

First strike:I had this shipped in to my store so I waited about a week from purchase. The box was torn and battered. Okay, it’s shipping, whatever. Second strike: on the very first start up, the system crashed. Got the “:( blue screen” from windows, and the computer restarted. Red flag. IT DID THIS 3 MORE TIMES. Third Strike: okay, finally have it up and running. Running great (finally). I use the computer for about 3 hours for work. Shut it completely off. Go to dinner and come back. Freezes during start up. I hard power down, and turn back on. Now it says “there’s a problem with windows and it has to be restored to a previous version.” Restarts itself, and now makes me go through initial setup again. Get to first page past network setup, and it gives me an error code “OOBEEULA” and only option is “try again” and nothing works. Hard shut down, packed it back up, and taking it back tomorrow. Will update once new one arrives. If any problems at all, going with the NZXT for $150 more...

Nice low price gaming machine

All components complimenteach other well. Sufficient cooling. Even tough only come with 600W psu this system is capable to receive gpu upgrade currently running Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming OC GDDR6X GPU without a hitch. The only other upgrade was increased RAM to 32 GB.

PC wouldn’t work for me.

I get an error code on every application. Have checked everything, reinstalled and checked latest drivers. Googled every error code, nothing worked or fixed it. Sucks because I was looking forward to using this.

Nothing But Frustration :(

Beautiful looking PC and nothing appeared to be damaged which was my main concern while shipping. But off the bat, none of the RBG lighting worked so i took off the appropriate side panel to check it out. All 3 connections were unplugged. Turned it back on and everything worked great after setting it up, for the day. Had alot of fun playing games on it. Two consecutive days after that consisted of my trying to solve my infinite boot loop issue, extremely frustrating. You should’t have to be afraid to restart or shutdown your PC. I tried everything to troubleshoot but I couldn’t take it anymore. I wouldn’t recommend this specific model from CyberPower because I’ve seen multiple people having this same issue.

*ERRORS* CPU FAN ERROR & BOOT DEVICE NOT FOUND

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just after return period expired, system loaded into BIOS screen with "CPU FAN ERROR" (this is a liquid cooling cpu, not fan) making pc unusable. After changing BIOS setting to ignore fan MANY MANY times, the pc finally started working again BUT within a month it's dead in the water AGAIN... pc now loads into a black screen with error message "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key..." CyberPowerPC wants to charge me to ship it back to them to fix these issues without guarantee to fix or replace it & Best Buy will not exchange for a new PC. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT. There's a risk this could happen to you. I paid over $1.4k for this extreme stress & disappointment. RIP!

Fan light controller harness had a factory installed PS pin sticking out that shorted months earlier on the case blowing that circuit board out. What a lemon.

Terrible vendor

I should have paid attention yo all the other bad reviews but my last computer from CyberpowerPC was excellent. I received a computer for my daughter yesterday and much to my surprise it had a pirated copy of Windows loaded on it. After much wasted time on the customer support line (on hold) I hung up and now I am out more money as I had to purchase a windows license just to use the computer I had already paid for. On top of all this I was supposed to receive a free game download and lo and behold that never came to me either. I won't be using this company again. I have literally been bitten by CyberpowerPC while trying to feed them by supporting the economy.

Bluescreen loop, won't boot less than a year in ..

Tried to update drivers, couldn't figure it out. Bluescreened about once a week and now, less than a year later, bluescreen loop, won't even boot anymore. Took it to bestbuy/geeksquad, they claim they checked hardware and hardware fine, wanted to charge me $99 to re-install windows, lose all data. THing is, when it boots it says its trying to auto-repair and repair disk... this is a useless piece of sheet hardware, don't buy, also not happy how Bestbuy left me hang on this, less than a year in. SUpposedly had a year of warranty.

Great when it worked...

It shipped with a wonky water pump but I can live with that. The fact that the bios cannot be updated is a different matter entirely. I took my computer to the Geek Squad, who were only interested in selling a new cooler pump to me and getting a commission; called CyberPower who said they can't help with bios issues (Really!!); and have traded worthless emails with AsRock, the maker of the motherboard, who suggested I try the various steps my email explained I have already tried. Once you buy this computer you are on your own. I wish I had bought the Alienware from Dell so I would have some support.

DOA twice

While it was working, it was a fantastic computer that didn't make a noise. Unfortunately, the first one crashed a day after receiving it and then was stuck in a never ending boot-loop. GeekSquad and I tried everything we could to get it up and running, but no dice. We decided to exchange it for another one and it had the exact same problem after two days. I loved it while it was up and running, but a very frustrating experience overall.

If you game, buy this computer.

We bought this for my son on 11/12/2020, and today is 7/16/2023. For nearly 3 years, my son has had zero problems with his computer. Not only does the computer look fantastic because of the multi-colored lights and transparent case, it performs like we bought it yesterday. The quality of this computer is excellent. My son plays this WWI video game that uses tons of RAM and puts pressure on the computer to perform, and he also watches tons of YouTube videos, and it works excellently. I highly recommend this.
