Windows won't activate/Support won't answer calls
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let's start off by saying I was pretty excited to find a PC already built with an RTX 3070 in it for under 1800 dollars. That is where the excitement ended. Upon receiving this PC and starting to set it up, I noticed a Windows activation prompt. Upon trying to activate said Windows installation I was told there was no product key on this system. I verified this by calling Microsoft Support and the helpful person on the phone confirmed that with me after we ran a PowerShell command of wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey That's the key you type into PowerShell to recall your product key (if your system actually has one). I'm about 5 hours into waiting for support to answer the phones or reply to my email generated case. This could be avoided if you they just included the product key in the packaging or on the case like PC manufacturers used to do. Upon spending almost $1700 including tax, this is a poor experience and I most likely will return this if I don't hear back by Monday (since support is closed Sundays). This company seems to have shady customer support and people need to be made aware of that. I don't care about the $20 Amazon gift card they promise if you leave a review and send proof of said review. So glad I wasted my time/money/effort just to have to start from square 1 on procuring a PC that would be satisfactory.
