cool pc not worth a couple grand

CyberPowerPC Beware

It hasn't even been one year since I bought it and I've already had to bring the computer in for repair to replace the CPU and may potentially still have to replace the motherboard. Would not buy again.

Not what I had hopped for.

CPU Idled at 95 Degrees

The CPU idled at 95 degrees celsius which is completely unacceptable. So there was either a problem with the chipset or the cooling system. Either way, I took it back to Best Buy and no questions asked, I received a refund. This was my second attempt with CyberPower, and my second failure with them.

AMD video card is terrible.

I started having driver timeout crashes a couple of months ago and if you search for that you will see it has been an ongoing problem that they either can't or won't fix. I ran all of the exact same applications that are crashing now on a very similar computer with a GeForce RTX 1000 for years and never had a problem.

No manual came with the computer and it took many phone calls and emails with CyberpowerPC to get any information. Never really got what I was looking for.

Dead GPU

GPU was bad according to the Geek Squad. Returned the same day and went with something else, didn’t want to risk another trip back to the store.

A fantastic PC

There is one small issue that I have experienced and it is fixable but I haven't had the time just yet: The graphics card or one of the surrounding wires is loose so when I accidentally kick it, my monitors go black which then ensues a 30 minute session of turning it on and off several times and several ways and unplugging and replugging every freakin cord... I could open it up easily and fix it but, for now, I've decided to be more careful and not kick my 1800$ computer. Set up was easy and, after 6 months, I noticed that changing the RGB is ridiculously easy too (it's the button on top right behind the USB ports). I would recommend this to a friend, who will probably be sad that they have to resort to buying a prebuilt during this graphics card crisis. But this is as good as it gets and it's attractive and upgradeable. Go for it!
