Losing Faith in CyberPower PCs

When it finally went on sale again I pulled the trigger on buying it. I wish I wouldn’t have now to be honest. The computer is a nightmare and I say this having had a CyberPower PC I bought in 2020 and used everyday until a few days ago. This is not the same cyber power I remember. Nothing works correctly, when I boot windows, it is always laggy. I attempted windows reinstall after I couldn’t take it anymore and it worked fine for about an hour and went back to being hitchy and not functioning. The worst part is, is not the pc is no longer on sale so I’m guessing Best Buy will not honor the price. Very disappointing and I’d think twice now about buying PCs from CyberPower.

Two months in and broke

Support for the product was responsive and appreciated that, but ended up having to do a factory reset on the computer to get the sound ports working again. Pretty concerning for an expensive PC like this.

Defective Product

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this PC, but after having blue screen issues with it and talking with the manufacturer, I was told it has a defective SSD (not a Western Digital model, so something else is wrong here). Best Buy is taking forever to get it back in stock for an exchange. So I’ve spent over $1500 on a gaming PC, put three hours into troubleshooting it before being told that it’s defective, over an hour combined waiting to talk with customer service, and now I’m being told I need to make two separate trips to the store during the busiest season of the year. All just to get a functioning version of the product I purchased. Now I come here. and see this is a widespread problem. Absolutely shameful on the part of Cyberpower and Best Buy.

Initially just ehh

Cyberpower Restarts after Waking from Sleep

Something they do with their builds is flawed, EVERY SINGLE Cyberpower PC ive ever bought has a problem that persists across builds where the unit will immediately restart after waking from sleep. Google it, its a well known documented issue and even new units like this one have the problem, apparently they dont care about fixing it.

Blue Screen of Death

Still troubleshooting and trying to figure out the problem, but I may be forced to return it. On the Cyberpower reddit page a lot of people have complained about blue screen errors with this PC as well. Sucks to spend close to $2k and have to deal with this right out of the box..

Good but not great.

Disappointed and dissatisfied

Could not get an in store person to bring it back. $1800 dollars and it stops working after 20 days. When we finally get an appointment it will cost $500 to fix unless I buy $180 warranty. I have been a long time customer of Best Buy. I will never purchase anything from there again

GPU Coil While Issue

CyberPowerPC service is BAD!!!

NO service from CyberPowerPC - fully ignored me !!! Luck me Best Buy refunded me fully. If you see issues on day one - just return it immidiatly.

BUYER BEWARE, POWER CYCLING ISSUE FAULTY MOBO/RAM

The PC will restart after getting out of sleep mode. I planned on using this computer for work, and ended up losing a few hours of progress because of this issue. I updated all necessary drivers, the Bios. Geek Squad ruled it out to either be a Mobo/RAM issue. DO NOT BUY CYBERPOWEPC PREBUILDS.

Keep restarting

DON’T BUY! Save yourself the money and headache.

The first time I ever started it up, I got an endless BSOD cycle. PC would power on, run fine for about a minute, then Blue Screen repeatedly. I took it back to Best Buy and they immediately gave me a new one of the exact model. Well, the same thing happened again, just it took about a week and a half to start Blue Screening. I will be taking this back and I will never buy anything from cyberpower again. I already have another PC built and on the way from a much better company.

Crappy Pc

It would shut off and reboot when it fell asleep and when it would be under load. I called cyberpower pc and they said it was built with an error. They put this device on sale and it sold out in my area. When I returned it the second time they pulled all the remaining pcs off the shelf. They said it was a bad batch of pcs. Geek squad told me I was better off buying a new brand because it had multiple issues. I bought an IbuyPower and love it. This specific pc was garbage.

Avoid. Just build one

I saw there were a handful of poor reviews but overall this model seemed to be rated positively. Hadn’t even been in use for more than 2 hours and the blue screen issues began, much like the feedback from the other low star reviews. Sure, you might get one that’s fine, but my advice would be steer clear. Just build one.

Don’t buy from best buy

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When i first purchased the PC for my girlfriend it didn’t take a day of playing and the computer already had problems with crashing i brought it in and luckily someone was able to help me but when i came back home which i live 100 miles away the pc worked fine for 2hrs and began the same problem but now the pc wont even turn on before it starts crashing and it’s too late for me to request a refund or get warranty
