This computer has some AMD software in it called StoreMI that is supposed to speed it up. In some cases it works, and sometimes it doesn't seem to be there at all. Starting the computer takes much too long. And I have to start it a lot, because it freezes several times a day. Stops everything with work displayed on the frozen screen. No mouse, no response to Ctrl+Alt+Del. Have to shut down with the physical power switch. Also, if the computer goes to SLEEP on its own, it freezes as soon as it sleeps. Physical power switch is the only fix. But if I put the computer to sleep manually using the Microsoft Windows software sleep button, the computer will wake up. Before I retired I managed OS installation and software distribution at a company with 16,000 Windows workstations. Never saw behavior like this.

Got this thinking it was going to be a amazing pc. WRONG this thing was a huge pain in the butt. First i got a dented one, second the fan was so loud when it is just sitting doing nothing.. Needless to say I took it back, after I tried to test a game. If you enjoy having to yell to talk to someone in the same room, or feel like the pc is going to explode this is your pc. I exchanged it for a much better pc that is quiet.. Huge disappointment

Not worth the price. Salesman said I could run fortnite at 144FPS+ on high settings without any issues and I can barely run 120 FPS with the lowest quality settings, my PC overclocked, and all my settings set to high performance mode and optimized for the most FPS. Save up for something better.

Great Gaming Desktop

I have to admit that this is my first time back into the AMD ecosystem since the Athlon days and I am loving it so far. This desktop worked right out of the box and it is definitely a quick running machine. Mine didn't come with any packing on the inside but I don't know if that's normal or not but I didn't have any loose connectors or things out of place so I'm guessing it didn't matter. I've not had any issues or noticed any sort of slowdowns in the short time I've had this computer. I came from an 8th Gen Core i7 gaming laptop with similar specs and I feel like this configuration runs quicker. Not to mention that AMD gives you more bang for your buck in my opinion. This is also my first CyberPowerPC computer. My daughter bought one about a year ago and I kind of waited to see what her experience was before purchasing this one. She has had no issues with her CyberPowerPC desktop either so that helped me make the decision to purchase this one.
For those reading this review, there are three things things I'd like to share:
First, the Best Buy description says it is air cooled but it isn't. It is liquid cooled. This is my first time using a liquid cooled computer so I'm interested to see how it goes.
Second, when I first went to check my disk usage I was shocked to only see one drive when the listing clearly said there were two. Before I called and complained to the store, I did a little digging and learned about AMD's StoreMI. Essentially, StoreMI combines the SSD and spinning disk into one giant drive and manages the two for you. It does more but you'll have to research that yourself. If you buy this computer and see only one drive, don't get upset. Just use your favorite search engine and look up AMD StoreMI and trust that there are two separate physical drives in this PC.
Third, don't do like I did and buy a larger SSD planning to put it in the system because the SSD that comes with it is too small. I didn't know about StoreMI at the time and the way I understand it, you can use a larger SSD but only 256GB will be dedicated to StoreMI and the rest will be allocated to a separate partition. If you are someone who doesn't like that your SSD and spinning disk is combined into one giant drive, you can separate them with the included software.

Computer keeps turning off when trying to play games at 1080p. I checked drivers and updated everything possible but it keeps turning off. the CPU temperature reaches 85 degrees and shuts off, the motherboard is a generic B450m and the graphics card also generic rx590. The computer will work, if you don't game on it.

My 8 year old son has talked about wanting a gaming computer for years so we decided to purchase this product and surprise him with it. The surprise was awesome until I received a phone call a week later with my son crying because his computer wouldn't work anymore. Ended up the video card was crap, returned the computer after only having it for one week. Never purchase a Cyberpowerpc they are trash !
