It's a nice pc for its price if you want to game on it but the major issues I have with it is I bought a hardware inferior pc a few years ago that cost me more only just gave out and this one feels like a significant down grade and on top of that every usb headset mic I try to use will not work and since they are significantly better then headset that use splitters for multiple reasons and the fact that this is a GAMING pc it really sucks to be forced to use an inferior headset

When the system worked it worked well... But the problem was that it didn't work consistently. The system would give me blue screens(crashes) when just browsing the web and in some cases just leaving it idle without touching it. Not only that but I thought maybe doing a clean install of windows would help... but it was not able to do a refresh of the system, use the recovery drive that I made the day I bought it, or even go to a restore point that I had set up also.
When it came to running actual games it would be hit or miss. Simple titles like Overwatch would run one day and then other days it would crash just picking a character. I even tried running a benchmark using FFXV one time it worked, the next the window just closed without even displaying an error message.
Perhaps I must have just gotten a bad system, considering when it arrived there wasn't even any protective packaging inside. But while the specs may look appealing, the other components that you may not think about such as the motherboard or even the CPU fan are where they cut the corners in order to make it more affordable. Those components do make a difference for performance and hopefully, this review helps you make an informed decision since I ultimately had to return mine.

I was asked to review by CyberpowerPC's own website, so I will.
I have had constant problems with this system. I bought in Feb 2019 to replace a gaming laptop that could no longer keep up with gaming demands. Except for the limited memory, this is pretty much the system I would have built myself, and since I was short on time, I bought it.
The PC started rebooting about 2 days after I bought it. All the internal connections were secure, RAM speeds set appropriately, nothing weird or out of place that I could find. I thought it might be a power issue, so I swapped my surge protector for a battery backup system that would condition the power coming out. Still no good; random system reboots during gameplay. This constant string of reboots was persistent but intermittent. Sometimes I would experience 3 or 4 in a 90 minute session, but then go days without a reboot.
Finally, yesterday evening I came home from work to find my system powered off; never a good sign. Tried to boot, and got "no boot device recognized" and it only shows the 2TB HDD, which has no bootable partition on it.

Dear Adron,
We are sorry to hear about your experience and apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you are getting a "no boot device recognized" error as well as only the HDD is being read in the BIOS, it could possibly be a SSD issue. You are more than welcomed to take advantage of our one year manufacturer's warranty. If you haven't already, please contact our tech support agents at your earliest convenience so we can look into the matter further.

Brought it to geek squad 3 times. Said it couldn't be fixed because no parts are available. My warranty only got my money back which doesn't cover the value of todays worth. Before this happened I loved it, but it didn't last. Broke down not even 2 1/2 years. Manufactory breakdown.

Never Buy a Cyber Power PC

I am on my second computer. Never buy one of these PCs they are horrible. The first one I bought wouldn't even turn on. The second has been non-stop problems and all the help desk says is reinstall windows... Over and over again no mater that you have already done it. If you do finally get them past that step they want you to pay to send the the piece of garbage they built so they can look at it. Never again will I buy a PC from them. Stick to the name brands and avoid this at all costs. It is not worth the headache

Great Mid Range Gaming PC (one minor issue)

-Performance-
This is a great gaming PC if you are just getting started, or upgrading from a 900 or older series Nvidia graphics card.
The RTX 2070 is generally on par with the GTX 1080, but with the added ability to use the new Ray Tracing feature some newer games are beginning to implement.
The CPU, Ryzen 2700x, is comparable to the Intel 8700K. The 8700K usually wins out in gaming, but the 2700x beats it in mulit-core work loads.
This PC comes with 16 GB of RAM. It is slow RAM though. Mine came with 2600 MHz, and AMD CPUs perform better with faster RAM. I was able to overclock my RAM in the BIOS to 3000MHz. Although upgrading RAM would be a good first idea when purchasing this PC.
-Cooling-
This tower includes 3 RGB case fans. They're very silent and able to keep the case at acceptable temperatures. The CPU cooler installed is a random cooler, can't find any information about it, but it isn't the OEM Cooler that AMD bundles with their 2700x, I would say the one in the case is worse.
One strange thing about the cooling set up: All three fans are set to exhaust. The one rear fan, and two front fans are all arranged to expel hot air out of the PC. This sounds all fine and dandy, but it is not. With all fans blowing out, none of the fans are bringing cool fresh air into the case. I quickly noticed this problem and made the two front fans intake fresh air, and kept the rear fan exhausting the hot air.

Not for 4K video editing at all

Have been a Mac loyal user for years, recently bought this for editing 4K video however it can not handle 12-bit data, maybe at 8-bit but after spending the whole weekend finishing a project I started on my Mac, it took just as long to render with all the crashes and program force quitting on me. At least with Mac you don’t have to worry about your computer shutting down from being overworked and losing all your data. If you’re a video editor and most of your time is spent rendering, don’t risk it, stick to a Mac and at least you won’t waste 6 hours rendering something for the program or computer to force quit on you. I will be returning this tomorrow after I finish this 10 hour export, which could crash at any minute. Now I know why people pay the extra money and just get a Mac, it’s way more reliable.

I had to replace my 1st one that I bought due to it freezing. Now I am on my second one, it was running smooth in the beginning but after a month I noticed that it is freezing again. It lags for about 1-2 seconds and it seems as time goes on the worse the lag becomes. It is very frustrating.
