My auto technician was vague about what this service pays for, but he insisted it was necessary. Taking the total cost of the install into consideration, I still came in under budget; but I can't recommend something I don't understand.

Had to have it installed and the initial install was poor as the installer was out on leave and had to call in a temporary who did not what he was doing so had to miss 2 days of work and once the original installer returned it was finally installed correctly

The store en Gwinnett Pleasant Hill Never give me the installation appointment I haved to return all the equipment.

Installation itself was good, but the wait was a killer, hence the ave rating. Had to wait 5 weeks to have it installed or basically half of winter.

Had this product installed in Evansville, IN store. Took 7 hours and still wasnt right, Had to take it to the Muncie, IN store and have it redone. Now we have gone through 2 batteries and this installation is the only thing that has been changed. So now we will take it back for a 3rd trip. I will never have anything installed at Best Buy again. Thanks

The agent wasn't friendly and don't have any customer service

My wife purchased me a remote for Christmas. The drone was not it. I scheduled the install 6 weeks out and when I went to pick up my truck they had switched the remote my wife purchased for the drone, without calling in advance to ask. The reason, it was easier to install. They stated they don't like to cut wires. Would I have done the switch don't know but do know Best Buy will not install another product for me.

My install took longer than I was told it would. After returning home, I found screws on the floor. Not impressed.

Nice to have but I should have gotten the more expensive product this one is kind basic and cheap

Well since my autostart was installed it unlocks all my doors while the car is running.....no they cant take off in it but i really dont want someone going through my car. Randomly when you use the remote to lock or unlock the doors it doesnt work or opens the trunk. Not a fan.

When I bought the remote start, the sales person told me it would be compatible with my 2014 model vehicle. It turned out that they hadn't loaded 2014's into the system and he had looked into 2013 instead. The remote start wasn't compatible. The service team ended up getting me an upgraded remote start and matching the original price. It added an hour onto my wait. The geek squad team also did not re-install my kick plate properly, not using bolts, and completely lost the clips that were needed. I didn't notice this until the kick plate fell out about a week later. I took it to an auto repair shop and it cost me another $20 and 45 minutes to get that fixed.

They did not explain to me I needed to buy the starter separate and was informed on the day of the installation. They also cancelled my appointment multiple times and won’t give me any flexibility for rescheduling. Very disappointed service.

The agents installed my remote start, on the recommendation of crutchfield, the remote start works sometimes, the alarm goes off at random. The price of the install changed several times, and them i was charged again, to have the system uninstalled. Because i was told that Crutchfield didn't offer support for the system i had purchased from them. And the store didn't tell me this until after the installation was completed. And when i contacted Crutchfield, they informed me that they still supported the system i had purchased.
