I purchased the Blu-ray version of "Dark Knight Rises" because I had recently upgraded from a DVD to a Blu-ray player. I wanted this film on BD because of all the extras it contains--since DVDs are being released with bare bones extras now. It was definitely worth the upgrade. The picture and audio quality are excellent, and the special features highlight all the time and effort that went into making not only this film but the whole series--one of the best in cinema history.

Amazing conclusion to the Nolan trilogy in 4K. I had the Blu-ray version, but this is definitely worth the upgrade. Part 3 of the greatest Batman series ever. Great movie. Recommend it to all who enjoy thrilling action movies!

No need to review the movie. It is a classic. The format is great. The audio is not Dolby Atmos. The package DOES NOT contain a digital code but they offer the ability to purchase that on streaming platforms for $14.99. Lame. If you can wait for an updated version that includes Atmos and a digital copy, do so. Glad it was on sale for $9.99 because without those missing features it isn't worth the retail price

Between the dark night and this installment the third my two favorites of this trilogy. and Hathaway it was surprisingly great as Catwoman and Tom Hardy does a great job as pain. Although the voice is a little laughable at times. Christian Bale is solid as always. Awesome ending to a great trilogy.

TDKR is a strong finish to the Dark Knight Trilogy. Nolan wraps up most loose ends nicely, while setting us up for the inevitable Justice League movie. The dialogue at times is a bit clumsy ex. Bane: "You came back to die with your city." Batman: "No, I came back to stop you." Well... that and when a certain character dies at the end. Overall though, great movie. I'd definitely sit down and watch this with my grandparents.... No, really. I would.

One of the best modern films out there, with breathtaking imax 1.85:1 ratio in some scenes, the whole movies visuals are amazing however. It is also some of the best lossless tracks out there, whether its Hans Zimmers amazing original score, or the loads of accurate, thunderous bass coming out of your subwoofer. This is one of the best blu rays you can own, and a staple for ANY persons film collection. Must buy!!!

Huge Nolan fan but who is not after The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight Rises catches some slack but overall it is a great end to a great trilogy. Once again the villain shines as Tom Hardy makes his performance a memorable one. Nolan intertwines the past two movies and ends the trilogy on a amazing note. As far as the Blu Ray goes it is amazing quality and worth it to add to your collection.

I grew up reading Marvel and DC comics. This film is one of the best interpretations of the Batman character. It's dark and so true to form. "The Dark Knight" is a grand slam! This is one niche below that. Also, I just bought a 4K TV and 4K Blu-Ray player just to watch this movie in 4K HDR. Outstanding!!!

The final chapter in Chris Nolan's Batman trilogy is an ambitious and at times flawed effort. Nevertheless it is A FANTASTIC movie! It looks and sounds terrific in stunning 4k quality! It's true that the fight scenes leave something to be desired but that's a minor flaw in my opinion. The story is solid paired with the great performances by the cast.

The picture and sound are fine. I bought all three Christopher Nolan Batman movies on 4K at the same time. This purchase taught me to pay closer attention to detail, because I later realized none of the three movies have digital codes. That's the only reason I'm not giving this movie a 5 star rating.

This is the best of the three Dark Knight films in terms of video quality because of the clarity and level of detail. It felt like I was back in the IMAX theatre when I first saw the film. You need this upgrade for your 4K tv. As with the dark knight the aspect ratio does switch around but i don’t mind it. Nolan is pretty tasteful about it as opposed to Michael Bay

The best batman ever by far Mr Bale! This Movie started off what would become the best batman franchise of all times! Christopher Nolan captivated us with his story telling and directing skill, and Christian Bale's portrayal Bruce Wayne/ the Dark knight A.K.A Batman will never be matched!

Gotta love Christopher Nolan, he did an amazing job with the final Dark Knight film. It's sad to see it end, but it had to finish sometime and this was a very nice effort to close it out. I'd argue that this is the second best in the trilogy behind The Dark Knight. Pretty solid 4k Blu Ray overall as well too, maybe not quite reference quality but very good.

The best Batman movies have been delivered to us by Nolan. The third installment into his Batman movies was fantastic movie. I did not find a dull moment and the acting was great. It is a shame that the Batman character has once again taken a turn for the worse by other directors and actors. This movie was purchased as gift as good movie. If you haven't watched then you must.

A fitting end to the trilogy, the 4K remaster of this film is absolutely stunning! The detail is incredible, and considering how dark this movie is, that's saying a lot. Well worth the double dip.

The new artwork, the 4K transfer and the film itself are absolute top notch. Having the blu ray included is great. The cover image of Bane was one of the best images from the Nolan Batman Trilogy so I was stoked they chose it to be on the cover. Epic, awesome film and a superb ending to the best start to finish trilogy of all time. Yup I said it.

I believe that the last Nolan BATMAN was nos as good as it could've been. Don't get me wrong. Is good, yet it could have been better if the Nolans would have concentrated in one thing only and not in trying to throw everything they would not do in the future for the franchise. Again, don't get me wrong, it works, it just takes a little bit to do so. Some of the things that I found hard to accept is a deciduous Bruce Wayne (He didn't finished his scientific project, he let his company fall) both previous movies shoed a smart guy like him would never allow it. A brooding BATMAN, hmmm. I didn't like him much either.

It sure looks and sounds AWESOME on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Disc. Bane's voice literally takes over your viewing room speakers in this remastered theatrical DTS-HD surround track. Like the other 2 in the 4K series the dialogue is a bit low, but not as bad. We wrote a full review of it all here http://whysoblu.com/dark-knight-rises-4k-uhd-blu-ray-review/

Bane was so so. Batman is sidelined for most of the movie. Not quite the Godfather III of the Nolan trilogy but definitely not worthy of the first two.

This being the last of the dark knight style Batman movies I find this one to be well produced. I like the feel and flow of this movie. Christian Bale gives another great performance as the Bat and Bane is brought to life in a believable way that keeps the viewer interested. I love this movie.
