I'm not going to review the movie because there's a lot of places where you can find reviews for this. Just want to review the bluray itself. The video/audio quality is top-notch and demo worthy so this is one to keep in your collection. All the extra features are in HD too so that's very nice because many other blurays don't have their extra features in HD. There's a lot of documentary type of features so if you want to know more about the movie background or production, there's a lot of content for this. There's no audio commentary though and no deleted or extended scenes on this bluray, which I was kind of disappointed in since I'm sure there was a lot cut that I would have been interested in seeing.

The Dark Knight Rises was a great movie; tying up all loose ends and satisfying any Batman fan's desires for a live action movie. It has beautiful cinematography, interesting characters and a powerful story. Likewise, this is a great Blu-ray. The steelbook packaging is perfect and fits in well with the other two entries in the trilogy. The extras may leave you wanting more, but the ultimate Trilogy Collection coming out this summer to fix that. This is the best edition of this movie out there, period. If you like Batman, superheroes, action movies or just good movies in general, the Dark Knight Rises is for you.

I would recommend this movie to any batman fans as Christopher Nolan does a excellent job with this trilogy, not quite as popular in theaters as The Dark Knight (This is The Dark Knight Rises) but I would not recommend this for young children under 13 for several reasons. First there are intense scenes of violence, (no gory blood or anything) the villains are more real than ever and might possibly scare some young children and it might be hard for children to follow the movie as this one leaves a lot of questions unanswered and ultimately lets the viewer decide how it ended. (the ending especially)

One of the best movie trilogy of all time. This movie should deserve and academy award for best picture, best actor, and best director. I hope Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan would just make more Dark Knight/Batman trilogy instead of rebooting the Batman movie series.

Christopher Nolan has given us a phenomenal ending to his masterpiece of a trilogy, and it may be the best movie out of the three. This is a must-buy.

I've seen just about every Batman movie there is. This one was a great addition to the series. Unlike the other review who only spoke of his dislike of Ultraviolet... I would highly recommend this movie to any fan of the super hero genre of movies and definitely any Batman fans

Chris Nolan continues his masterful film making with this epic conclusion (sadly the last) to the Dark Knight trilogy. Yes it's not an engaging as the first two, but the canvas is much larger and this is meant to be epic, which is what it is. The first two were more about characters and plot, like Heather Ledger or Gary Oldman or Liam Neeson. This one is more about the soul of Batman and what he represents, the battle within, and Bruce Wayne's legacy. Anne Hathaway fits Catwoman nicely. Can't wait to catch this on DVD again.

This series of Batman movies are the best super hero movies to date and the Dark Knight Rises is the best Batman movie in the trilogy. If the incident in Colorado didn’t happen this would have easily been the top box office earner.

Excellent movie and an excellent tale woven by Christopher Nolan. Nolan showed his storytelling perfection by tying all three movies together and creating an excellent finale'. The only drawback was Nolan's admission he would not reference the Joker in this film because of Ledger's untimely passing, because I feel one reference would have allowed the audience not aware of the Batman myth to know that the Joker worked with Ra's Al Ghul also! Otherwise, just an incredible movie. Tom Hardy was fantastic.

Knowing this was the final Nolan Batman movie has you expecting big things... and this mostly does not disappoint. They made Bane a more interesting character than I expected, but still I feel like he is the weak part of the movie. Everything else works, though... and closes the story began in Batman Begins. Sad to see the Dark Knight story ending for now, but a very fine way to go out... Here's hoping they change their mind and make another OR maybe a Justice League movie!

this is the conclusion of the dark knight trilogy and although it doesnt measure up to the the dark knight, it was still action packed and had you on the edge of your seat. tom hardy is awesome as bane (a character i never really cared for) but that part was played so well done by him that i got a new outlook on the bane character.. once again a masterpiece to the whole dark knight franchise...strongly recommend

I've always been a huge fan of the Batman movies and I think that this installment of the series was up there with the best. While many people think the Heath Ledger Joker movie is the best of the Dark Knight series, after watching this a few times I think it may be my favorite. Highly recommend it.

As far as the movie is concerned, it's a great finale to Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy. The extras are great, and who wouldn't like to have an UltraViolet copy on them? My only issue was more with the hardware. I had to update my New Blu-Ray player twice before I could actually enjoy the disc. So make sure your system is up to date.

Not as good as the second one, or, I'd say, even the first one, but still a good flick. Brings back a lot of elements from Batman Begins, so if you liked that one, you'll like this one. Anne Hathaway's Catwoman steals the show. Bane isn't as good; an attempt to be as philosophically devastating as the Joker, but he's just not as good. Plot is weaker (Bruce has been in exile for 8 years and then comes back with a busted knee?), but still worth a once-through. Might suggest renting as opposed to buying.

The Dark Knight Rises!!!. What more can you say, this movie was great on so many levels. The acting was on point and believable, the action was intense and breath taking, the story had to be the best batman story to be told period. When you add in the dvd/blu ray extras this is a must own, if you haven't seen it, then SEE IT!!!

This movie gets a lot of hate, but after the masterpiece that is the Dark Knight I don't think anything could have lived up to the public's total expectations. The movie has some flaws and plot holes just like any movie, but this movie has been peeled back way to much. The picture quality is excellent and work the purchase.

Dark Knight was a great . The story and it's characters were fantastic. Christian Bale was at his best.I'm going to miss his Bruce Wayne. Ann Hathaway was an excellent addition. Micheal Caine,Morgan Freeman always good. I would recommend popcorn and a movie weekend with all the batman you could handle ending with Dark Knight.

If you like the Dark Knight trilogy, you need to own the blu-ray of the final movie. Only complaint is that the digital copy is not iTunes. Ultraviolet is an annoying standard that requires and internet connection & doesn't allow me the rights to the movie file I purchased. If that doesn't matter to you, then go for it.

I enjoyed this movie in the theatre and on the blu-ray. Glad it was an end to Bruce Wayne's story, but kind of disappointed it left it open to another person taking over as Batman, but I guess that's the whole point, Batman is a legend, a symbol, not just a man. The only blu-ray extra I've seen is the Batmobile history, which is fun. It was great to see all the Batmobiles together, although I don't like the Batman Forever and Batman & Robin Batmobiles. Overall a good movie.

this purchase was a no brainier for me. I have The Dark night and batman begins too because im a fanatic. Exceptionally done movie with great acting, action and a lot of suspenseful moments that have you hanging of the end of your Sofa. Buy this legendary movie it will satisfy instantly after you watch it.
