Excellent movie from beginning to end. I wished they had continued the story of Churchill with this director and team. Outstanding work by all involved.

Nicely done and historical! The movie is very intense and amazing. the acting is super and on target. we as a family enjoyed it to the last second.

Darkest Hour is an excellent fact based movie that portrays the first five weeks of Winston Churchill as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

This is strickley a political movie involving churchhill and what he had to deal with a weak goverment and taking on a tyrant with adolph hitler

If you love history, this is for you... I am a WWII fan since I hear all the stories and readings from my gran father. I had to have it, of course.

Any lover of war movies would like to see this. It kind of takes you “behind the scenes” and shows you what goes on politically in war times.

The only bad thing for me was the I missed some of the dialog due to the English accent but it was still very enjoyable.

Bought this as a gift for my son. Nice part is with the digital copy is in with the dvd, so I get to watch anytime I want too. I like history and parts of the movie hollywood have embellished but overall a very good movie. Pair with Dunkirk. (watch after Dunkirk.)

This is a great movie--well acted. It is interesting to view WWII from Churchhill's prospective. It will be a great addition to my library.

Not a colorful looking movie but blacks are inky and look great on an OLED tv, really sharp looking film. Really enjoyed this movie!

Gary Oldman does a fantastic job depicting Churchill, even down to the mumbling. If your not familiar with WWII, you any be a little lost.

Saw it in the theatres and had to own it. Tells an awesome story of Churchill’s beginnings in office and dealing with the Dunkirk problem.

Great portrayal by Gary Oldman - deserved the Oscar. Makes him look less political than he was. Very watchable movie with great extras.

Outstanding film. Watch documentaries. History has a way of repeating itself or at least rhyming.

Gary Oldman. He earned that Oscar this year for his portrayal of Winston Churchill. Amazing acting. Amazing is the word for this movie.

Viewing this movie is like watching history unfold and learning how close the country could have taken a drastically different path.

Purchased for 4K sound and picture. Excellent quality! Superb! I highly recommend this movie !
