i'm a great fan of "docudramas" I'm an even greater fan of "WWII", the war years. The resulting effects on "America" and the World at large. This photoplay just adds to my already growing collection.

This movie showed the determination of Winston Churchill not to make peace with Hitler. For us that remembered WWII this movie brought back many memories. For the youger crowed its a history lesson

Anything to do with WWII; documentary, drama, or otherwise, make it to my collection. I was very much looking forward to this and it doesn’t disappoint. Great performance by Gary Oldman. Get it!

UHD for this movie really brings out the shadow detail in the dark scenes. Hard to go back to the bluray after watching this version. Great pickup for under ten bucks.

Saw the movie Darkest Hours and gee, it was so good. The transpiration Gary Oldman when through with makeup was unreal. Plus his acting was wonderful. If you have not seen the movie - do.

One of my favorite Churchill movies, great overall cinematic experienced. Not a movie that lingers on the exaggerated action movie experience rather on the factual and real adaptation.

Great movie. Should be viewed with Dunkirk to get the same story from two different angles. Very good picture and sound. Sometimes hard to understand with the British accent. Cherio!

A tremendous telling of one of the most significant historical figures and events in an extremely engaging way. You know it's Gary Oldman only because you were told he was the star.

As a was buff, having watched many movies on D-Day and the European campaign, I really loved the insight of Churchill with this movie, great flick.

See what WW2 was like at the beginning with the pressure of decisions to either fight or surrender. I liked the extra feature of how Oldman worked to be like Churchill

Not alot of action but it covers Churchhill very well.Not alot of special feture but it has a few.The movie has great sound and picture,must own for and history person.
