Instalation was faster than expected and haven't had an issue great work!

While he might have helped me get the info and amount, I thought he was remiss in explaining why I should have to pay for something prior to installation. Nor did I ever receive an email asking me to schedule the appointment. I ended up going to Best Buy and asking how to schedule. NOW THIS IS WHERE CREDIT SHOULD BE GIVEN! The Installation Department were FABULOUS! Only Geek Squad I’d recommend will be installation! PHONE SERVICE STINKS!

I had a very bad experience with the onsite installation (Rockville Site). I've waited for around 2-months of schedule, for a duration of 2hrs. installation of my Dash Cam (Front, Cabin and Rear View). Due to our first-time to travel to that place (not familiar) we're late for just a few minutes (around than 5-10mins). We're asking for considering because of our travel, but the installer is very rude, and does not have any consideration for his customer. They have declined the installation even though we're still booked for two-hours. This is something they don't want to do because they already have the reason not to do their job. Very POOR customer service. So sorry for the company. :-(

Installer did an excellent job hiding all wires and ensuring the device worked properly. Appreciate his effort.

Installation went as told, on time and professional

Brought my vehicle to the Margate store to install my dashcam, all the installer did was tell me why he couldn't install it. He claimed that the cord was too short, without even opening the box, he claimed there would be an additional fee of 179.00 for the rear camera. Best Buy has you put the make and model in the computer in order to make sure it works in your vehicle as well as set the price. Well not this time. Very very poor and what I would call a lazy technician. What a waste of my time going out there, wasting time, gasoline etc..... Drove back around and returned everything especially the install.

I bought the Thinkware X1000 dash cam after making sure it's compatible with my car (plug-in hybrid) on BB website. Then at the scheduled installation, which was about 1 month from the date of purchase, the technician informed me that he'll not do it as it came with a hardwiring cable which will void the car warranty! He suggested I purchase an OBD-2 cable then reschedule for the next month! I checked the cable he suggested online and it clearly shows a note that it's not compatible with hybrid and electric cars. So I had no choice but to return the dash cam.
