Good installation, but didn’t prepare for specific car model and the knowledge of different electricity types.

I have purchased the installation for dashcam camera and that was the only one option they have on Bestbuy.com but the tech told me that I have just purchased the front dashcam only(???). Best But sold combo Thinkware front and rear dashcam with installation and then tech said just for front dashcam. That's confusion for client but I said to tech just go ahead and do the installation I will pay extra for rear camera if he needs. After the installation, tech told me that he could not ran the test to see if camera is working properly or not then he told me to sign for paperwork then DONE. I have to went home and download the app into cell phone and follow instructions show how to connects to dashcam and it took me less than 10 minutes to got them up and running. It seems like tech does not know what he 's doing??? Best buy will loose client if they keep doing like this.

During the holidays is the busiest time for these guys and it is difficult to get an appointment. I drove from Brandon to Bradenton (46 minutes from my home) to have a backup camera installed. I’d receive all the incorrect information and been set up for the wrong service. Howard at the Bradenton location realized I had the wrong product and service scheduled and did the best job well after the store closed. He was very knowledgeable, respectful, efficient, and courteous to my wife and I while we waited.

The installer, Herman, was very professional and very nice.

Ben formatted my micro sd card and installed both my dash cams in the time he quoted. He was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. I would definitely refer anyone who needs to get a dash cam installed to them. I had my appointment at the Best Buy at 290 in Austin, TX

The tech refused to do a hardwire dashcam installation claiming that because the car was an EV, it wasn't possible to do a hardwire installation and had to be via the OBD (a less clean install, but easier for him). He claimed that OBD is the only way to prevent battery drain. This is simply incorrect. Despite producing copious evidence that hardwiring is not only possible for my EV, but actually preferable, he wouldn't be moved. He wouldn't back his statement up except to say that he knew better than everyone else because he's been doing this for a number of years. That's the kind of attitude that would get me fired in my job.

If you've a EV car and want to install dash cam on, don't take it to BestBuy- They were supposed to install the cam so it would work 24/7 but ended up connecting to a switched fuse. When I asked about, they gave me so much crap and talked me down very technically- I did my own research and installed mine and it works perfectly. They also damaged my Vantrue 11.5ft Type C USB 12V 24V to 5V Dash Cam Hardwire! I had to buy a new one!

You can book the appointment for any car but then they called me saying that they don't work on Tesla cars.

Dash Cam install was first install of the day. They consulted me on where to install the Dash-Cam, They worked quickly and carefully. No trash was left in my vehicle. My car worked and performed just as it had as before. My installer gave me a quick demonstration overview of how the Dash-Cam worked. All and all a superb experience.

The dash cam was definitely installed and works okay but when I showed up the techs did not walk me through anything and just asked for my keys (really I should have just pushed for more of a walk-through). They didn't say where they would install the cam and it ended up being installed so that the right side ports were not available. Aside from that I was looking through the footage from the dash cam and realized that they had recorded bits from the install where they made some racist comments about my appearance. Otherwise, cam has been working fine and it's been a couple weeks.

Had it professionally installed by Geek Squad. Integrated perfectly with my car. Video capture is excellent. Manual mode is easy to use and I wish the technical explaining well more

Chris from the Irvine location installed my rexing v33 3 dashcam. He absolutely killed it. great placement of the cameras where its barely noticeable (until you hear it power on) He hardwired into battery, zero issues with wiring. He even set-up the cameras initial start up functions so it was ready to go. i thought that was an extra special nice touch. just wanted to say thanks to an incredible job.

I got dash camera installed. There is a long wait time to get an appointment. I drove few miles to get to the store but its worth it. Technician was knowledgeful. Explained me every single thing and provide me with the available options to go with. I highly recommend this service from geek squad.

The professional installation of my dash camera system was completed in less than 90 minutes. The Geek Squad Technician (Juan?) who did the work was respectful, courteous, knowledgeable and did a superior, neat and tight installation. Wiring was expertly hidden and couldn’t have been better!

Had a great experience yesterday with the install of my dash cam. They took the time necessary to get it done right, walked me through the use, and were very friendly.

I bought a Thinkware U3000 Dashcam and had Best Buy install it. It took 2 months to get an appointment but they did an awesome job. After they installed the Dashcam at the Owings Mill location the technician showed me how to use the Dashcam.
