Thinkware Dash Cam 800 Pro was installed by Best Buy and the unit works very well. The install was Professionally done and works flawlessly.

I was very disappointed with the service. I bought my camera and went to make an appointment for the install the same day, and I was scheduled for a pre-inspection two weeks later. After it was determined that I would need a hard-wiring kit, I was told that it would be ordered and I was subsequently given an appointment for the install a month later. I finally show up for my install appointment and they did not have my hard-wiring kit. Consequently, I had to wait another month before I was given a 2nd appointment (One of two things happened here: They forgot to order my hard-wire kit, or my hard-wire kit was used on a different install; I believe it was the later because the two techs were searching for the kit and looking at each other like we messed up). I finally get the camera installed with no further issues. Only reason I am giving this review 2 stars is because I was given a discount on the install and the tech was very efficient and courteous when I showed up for the install. Hence, if you go inn for an install, make sure they have the part/s that you need or are ordered ahead of time, so you won't waste your time and they do not give you the run-around. I literally had to wait about three months before my dashcam was installed! Lastly, the techs are very knowledgeable with the technology and install, but I wish I could say the same when it comes to the team being organized!!

For the tiny camera it is, the quality of the video it takes is better than many police videos and shows up great on a full pc monitor.
