Had front and rear cameras installed on my car. Customer service was outstanding, they had my car done in a matter of minutes.

I wrote a review of the Cobra 895 Dash Cam prematurely. I want to update my review. While the picture/video quality is very good, that’s where the good ends I’m afraid. I’ve had to return to Best Buy multiple times because of issues. First, I was told to purchase from COBRA a micro USB because I’m getting interference with my radio, bad enough that I can’t listen to AM radio anymore while the Desh Cam is plugged in. I get some interference/static on the FM dial too. The micro didn’t solve the problem and I was told that I should get the mini instead. I waited a few more weeks for that, but while the interference isn’t as pronounced, it’s still there. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a Dash Cam if I have to unplug it to listen to the radio. Also, the rear camera video footage is backwards, as though I’m looking at the video through a mirror. This has everyone baffled and has yet to be resolved. We’re waiting to talk to COBRA about it to see if there’s a way to fix it. I’m told it was installed properly. For some reason you can’t just keep recording over the old video on the memory card. I’ve tried all of the settings. That’s annoying. I bought a card with more memory, but I still don’t seem as many hours of video as I should, I suppose because this is 1080p. This has been way too quirky to recommend buying it. I suggest finding something with better features.
