||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.the front dash cam and rear facing dash cam are mounted very well. they did a very good job hiding the wires and they power up and power down with the ignition. I was recently in a crash and went to retrieve the video, but the cams were set up to record to memory card capacity then to stop recording, rather than loop and rewrite. So i have video from the first couple hours of driving with the cams. I didn't know what I didn't know, so learn from me and ask them to show you how your camera is configured with resolution, rewriting, audio, crash detection, auto protect files, and video format.

Took over 2 months to get installed

Could not get it installed till mid March and had to travel 45 miles to get it installed. Again, installation was great. Was not able to get any help from management or customer service because of Best Buy delaying install. I should not have had to wait this long. When called to cancel my appointment and that I would have to wait another 6 weeks to have installed and drive to Roseville, another 15 extra miles. All she could say was I’m SORRY. No help from her, management, or customer service. I will be careful in the future when ordering from Best Buy.

Drive Cam

Not a great option

Lack of instruction

I had my Cobra Dual Camera Dash Cam, Drive HD, CDR 895 D for around 6 months when the rear camera stopped working. The Geek Sqad uninstalled my camera and when my replacement came they reinstalled it all with no extra charge. Now, about 4 months later the rear camera stopped working. I would highly recommend Best Buy installers to do their professional installation. But, I would highly recommend NOT getting this camera. My installation rating is 5 stars. But, the product rating is 1 or 2 stars. I would not recommend this camera at all! Keep in mind this is a rating on the install, not the product.
