    Dash cam install fail

    The agent disregarded the installation instructions for my dashcam and did it "his way". Now my camera does not power for parking mode because it is not on a hot circuit as it is required to be. So much for a credentialed professional.

    Nothing against the techs who are overworked and pushed for time because Best Buy does nit give enough allotted time to do the job properly... Which is why one camera was hung upside down and the main camera wad not properly mounted in the right place

    Not happy about the quality of installation of our dash cam. Looks like it was installed by an amateur from the flea market.

    They didn’t connect my rear camera correctly. They also didn’t provide guidance on how to use my dash cam despite it being apart of the installation. Their phone number was unavailable so it took hours just to receive the refund.

    Geek Squad rookie did not know what she was doing. Spent 75 minutes looking through online resources and YouTube to try and figure out how to install dash camera. Do NOT recommend Bellingham, WA Best Buy Geek Squad.

    I have not been able to gety dashcam installed. My appoint was scheduled for a time when the install shop was closed, I called you 800 Help desk, however the issue still has not been resolved.

    My camera did not work at all brand new camera I had to send it back and get a new one my technician told me when the mew one arrives to bring it in for installation I was very upset I took work off to get this procedure done.

    Smudges all over the window and mirror, black grease all on my white roof interior, damage to the window tint and self dimming mirror no longer works. 2022 VW Jetta

    Worst experience at Bestbuy Store pickup

    I just picked up the dash camera from Wheaton MD location today. Installation is scheduled for October 13th, whereas order status displays as "Service is completed". Please resolve this issue.

    Went in for a Dash Cam install. It should of been 1.5-2hrs. It took him 8hrs one day, and had to come in for another 4hrs the next day. Tech said it was lack of equipment and tools

    Terrible. The appointment was made. But they didnt have anyone ready to install. They wanted to reschedule me for another 1 month wait. Unprofessional. Ended up doing the dash cam install myself.

    Very rude and deceptive individual, very judgmental Individual, did a bad install , put dashcam in a difficult corner of the windshield. He is a young Asian, needs to be trained how to handle customers

    Horrible service, I’ve made five different appointments and it’s still not right. Called the corporate office and all they did is send me back to the same place that didn’t do it right before.

    Installed a dash cam that drained my battery

    They installed my dash cam incorrectly and caused a battery drain. Took me months and 2 batteries to figure it out.

    Don't use Best Buy. They have no concept of what a good job looks like. I had it removed and done properly by another company.

    Bad service as I must get the 3rd appointment to get the install the cam( will be on 10/02/2021). Also bad advice so the extra wiring is required.
