Customers consistently note the Go-tcha Evolve's auto-catch and auto-spin features as being incredibly useful, making it easier to play Pokémon GO without constantly checking their phones. The long battery life is also widely praised. However, there are concerns about its durability, with some customers reporting that it stopped working after a month. Connectivity issues and a difficult charging process are also mentioned as pain points.

Good but a little wonky
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s a solid device if you want to play Pokémon go in the background. However make sure to play around with the wristband a little bit because it seems to get stuck on the screen being engaged causing the settings to go crazy. It took a little figuring out but eventually was able to workout the problems it was having.

Worth it but not at the current price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works well for android not so much for Apple. For the price it’s not worth it so try to get it on a sale or discounted price. After a while of ownership the screen will glitch and not turn on but is still active just give it time and will come back on. Overall great item just not for the price.

Ok, but I liked the original more.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I find I like the original Gotcha more. It was smaller and easier to pocket. All you get with this one is a higher price tag, a watch, and a pedometer. It is harder to loose than the original Gotcha. You pull a wrist band off to reveal a usb plug that you plug into any standard usb port to charge rather than having the proprietary cable.

Does what it’s supposed to
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works great. I use it when I’m out at the grocery store or places like that where I can’t focus on just Pokémon go. It helps since it catches almost everything for me. Charge lasts for a long time. I only wish there was a different way for it to charge but it’s not a big deal. It’s true that it does disconnect if you try to catch something yourself or it can just randomly turn off. I’ve only had an issue with it twice where it didn’t wanna connect again but I realized I just had to go on the app it tells you to install and set it up again.

Great buy if you use the app
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really good buy for any go fan. The auto spin on the pokestops is a real life saver when casually traveling and can play. It acting as a pedometer which out the need to carry your phone is nice so you can rank up steps at work or school.

Works great.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Held up for quite some time. Still have it but fell out of playing Pokémon go. It does disconnect if not catching Pokémon or spinning stops. It’s not as fast as a human but it’s worth not having to do it yourself.

It's ok.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's great when it works. Sometimes, it looses connection to the game, and it's very difficult to bring it out of sleep mode sometimes. I also find it very difficult to unplug it for charging and I am an adult. I can't imagine how a kid must feel about it. I was afraid I would break it.

A must have for every Pokémon GO gamer!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Go-tcha Evolve is a game changer for Pokémon GO! All you need to do is connect the wristband watch to your phone and it will catch Pokémon and spin PokéStops hands free! It will occasionally disconnect, which at times is frustrating.

Love it but scared me half to death
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like this device when im out and about however it would be better if it could do other types of balls and not scare me when it auto catches a shiny and they run in the wild if i try to "recatch" them (shiny clink)

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product was easy to set up and use. It is a little scarry how hard it is to take off the band to charge it. It does catch a lot of Pokémon even ones that don't show on your screen but are still near by. I have been unable to catch Raid Bosses due to my storage being full so I have learned not to have it while raiding. I have not found a way to use the 2nd one on the other Pokémon Go account because that account only plays off the Hotspot off my phone. Still waiting for someone to figure that out and post it. I love how it spins stops as you pass them. It is a total asset and I am glad that I made the investment in it.

Helpful, but not necessary!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it specifically for GoFest 2020, and while the battery life was pretty legit - would've lasted 3 days if I didn't plug it in 2nd night -, it didn't blow my hair back like I had hoped it would! It did help me catch a few extra things and freed up some of my focus to do other things simultaneously. It also just straight up died on me when the battery got low, and I mean broke when I say died. When it arrived in the package it looked like it had already been manhandled, since the box was torn and the one my fiancé took had some card with it that mine didn't. So, as there were zero left in stock ANYWHERE when I went to exchange it, I just returned it. Pretty sure I'm not going to buy it again!

A mediocre option but still better than some other
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Device is a pain to get connected and it drops connection a bit. Works well when it does connect. Only has the option to use normal balls nothing higher and the catch rate seems way low. Overall design feels cheap. It does get the job done though

Great product for pokemon go players.
||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Comes in handy while driving or you needs hands to be free. Decent price. Just be careful not to pull to hard when you need to charge or ypur could break it.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as expected for the most part. Will disconnect on occasion. Gotta catch them all
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far I love this. I had the original Gotcha, but it did not work reliably. This one works well. Every time I use it. Easy to pair with app and PoGo. Love that it can catch Pokémon while I work on something else. Even got a shiny this week. I do wish I could take it our of the watch band. You need to take top watch band off to charge. I keep thinking it will break off. But its been fine so far. I can go a couple days on one charge.

Omg no
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Charging this thing is a crime against technology!!! You have to take the band off in what feels like breaking it. Then find a port what you can stick this fat, curved monstrosity into... it doesn’t come with a charger.. it’s not convenient. It does have a decent battery life. Which is good because I’d rather throw it out than try to charge it again. It’s confusing. Options that look the same are somehow different. And if that’s not bad enough, the options don’t stick when you set them. And this thing FEELS big on the wrist. I wear The biggest Apple Watch and this feels bigger. I wore Those big fake gold watches in my past and this feels bigger. This feels like a vcr strapped for my arm with a belt. And it’ll rub you raw within minutes. It has a step counter on there and I literally Couldn’t tell you what registers as a step. Or why it’s there because that info doesn’t shop up anywhere. There’s no breakdown. Just shows how many steps you’ve taken until it randomly resets lol. The time is wrong and you can’t really change it... Ok but does it work when you sync it and stuff.. nah bro!!!! I mean It might!! But it disconnects after like 5 minutes unless I’m not moving. Like it’ll only count steps or catch Pokémon but not both!! I ended Up switching to the old one. Someone asked to buy this and I refused To sell because I liked That person and I dont Wanna see them suffer.

As god as expected
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. To be honest, I had a couple of minor issues that were my fault. The USB will go into a charger the wrong way, so make sure it's the correct way or it won't charge. To pair it, you have to force-close the evolve app, otherwise it won't connect to Pokemon go. The auto catch and auto spin worked great for me. Overall, it works exactly like one would expect, especially the coolest feature that basically turns it into a watch, even if we aren't trying to use the thing to catch Pokémon/spin stops.

Great for community day!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This watch catches monsters and spins stops for you while you battle, raid, trade, and drive. It had a step counter but that distance doesn’t transfer to the game. It a little buggy ( reconnecting and prolonged use) only throws regular pokeballs and will notify you when you run out . Over all a great accessory for community days but not something needed to be successful.
